Is this pigment not eyesafe???

I just got my first MAC order from online!
Normally I buy it in the store.

Anyways, I ordered the Platinum pigment, because i've been wanting a nice silver metallic eyeshadow for awhile.

When I opened the box, it came with a little piece of paper, which was weird to me, since the pigments i've bought in store, never came with one.

On it, it says "Caution: The following shades are not to be used in the lip or eye area"
And it lists platinum.

So.... am I not supposed to use this pigment as eyeshadow? Because I REALLY want to, lol. That's what i bought it for. I don't use pigments for anything else.

I have a sample of Platinum and I use it on my eyes - I haven't had a negative reaction yet. =)

I've never had a bad reaction either. It's your choice where/how you want to use it. It's the same thing with glitters, a ton of people use them on eyes even though they are not eye safe.

It's not tested to be eyesafe but I've used it on my eyes and haven't had a reaction

I've used it on my eyes too - no problems!! Love this pigment, it's like liquid silver when foiled.

Yeah I swatched some on my hand.. holy moly *drool*
It's the most perfect silver. I can't wait to use it!

It's seriously like liquid silver. Swatching it, it didn't even seem like powder, haha.
