i don't wear lipstick 99% of the time, but i fail to see what the big controversy is about that quote to be quite honest. bush says completely stupid things quite often. entire nations are rooted in sexism. people still dress their children in blue and pink as their child's gender "dictates". and on and on and on...scarcely anyone knows who isabella blow is and even when she comes up on these boards, people ask who she is instead of looking it up for themselves; so i am guessing her words aren't going to fall on too many ears.

Isabella Blow is a notoriously eccentric fashionista; I wouldn't expect any less of a bizarre statement from her! I mean, she's a weirdo and she's trying to sell her lipstick. I don't taker her seriously at all.
