John Travolta's son named Jett passed way this Friday while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas... It was said that he suffered from a seizure and hit his head on the bath tub.. He was 16 years old.. Many have speculated he was autistic. Travolta's choice of religion called "scientology.." Such diseases are believed to merely be mental inflictions which can be cured through "auditing" or pseudo-counseling. Scientology condemns not only anything psychological treatment, but also any modern medical treatment as well.

Poor Travolta family.

I never really understood scientology... and why so many big name celebrities believe it. There;s something so... cult-ish... about it (not to offend anyone)
but I suppose most less-main stream religions seem that way in the beginning.

This is incredibly sad, and I feel for their family right now.

And, just for the record:

Jett wasn't autistic. He had Kawasaki Syndrome, which is an inflammatory disease which sometimes has fatal consequences (heart, valves and the such). He also had a history of seizures. Really, their chosen religion has nothing to do with this, since it's not psychological.

But again, my condolences on a family who lost a young man too young.
