Just a tester FOTD...

I'm feeling squeemish about posting this up as my first FOTD, but I thought I'd test the water..... this is like my "hiiii I'm showing my face" fotd.


I'm working up the courage to post pics of myself with my own work but still haven't mastered taking good pics of myself yet.

So here's a pic of me in my final makeup class. One of the instructors made me up and one of my classmates took this photo (hence me not smiling properly cos I felt a bit shy...which is not really me in real life-I'm actually quite a loud person!)

I think ya'll are beautiful btw and I love this forum! Gimme some lovin and I might post more >_<

Unfortunately it was all Napoleon...no MAC.... but here is what I remember her using:

Foundation:
-Primer
-Minimal Makeup in Look 4
-Camera Finish in Look 1 to set
<EDIT> Also used Pro Palette Concealer!

Cheeks:
China Doll Colour Veil on apples

Lips:
China Doll Colour Veil mixed with Lip Laquer in Pink Patina

Eyes:
-A beigey colourdisc as base--can't remember what number it is sorry!
-Mint eye pencil as base over mobile lid and blended upwards
-Golden Beige loose eye dust mixed with a tad of Wild loose eye dust on inner 2/3 of lid
<EDIT> 'Wild' is like a fine powder versio of MAC's Blue brown!
-Ultra Pearl eyeshadow in Sea Mist on Outer third of lid
<EDIT> Sea Mist is a teally/turquoisey colour
-Long Lash Mascara in Double Black
-Mint eye pencil to line lash line and inner rim wth Sea Mist on top to set the liner
-A couple of falsie lashes on each eye

I think this is great. Be brave and post more FOTD's, the girls here are nothing but friendly. They will always offer helpful and appropriate advice where needed. Be assured there is no bitchiness or sarcasm used on this board, (that sort of behavious is not tolerated here thank goodness).
I know for a fact my application has improved tenfold since being brave enough to post pics, after taking on advice issued.

So bite the bullet and post lots, I look forward to seeing more from you.
