k so im new to mac and i just bought a bunch of things which would be my first items from mac;

i bought foundation, lustraglass, an eyeshadow [swish], 242 brush, concelar, and prolash mascara.

yeah, so im wondering what would be good brushes for:

foundation
blush/bronzer
concelar
eyeshadow

and what's the 242 good for?

For a basic set:

foundation - #190
blush/bronzer - #187 Stippling Brush
concelar - #194
eyeshadow - #219 Pencil, #231 Small Shader (perfect for shadow lining and smudging along the bottom lashes), #239 Shading (great for packing & placement), #272 Small Angled Shader (awesome for crease blending)

The 242 is great for application of Paint shadows or concealor. I'm sure you can use it for basic laydown of regular shadows though.

I really like the 242 for patting down shadow on the lid and for highlights. It was the brush reccommended to me by an MA at a counter. The 239 is great too, and I just bought the 219 tonight.
