Kinda monochromatic..

I've been experimenting with a flat iron, which is something very new for me. It took me a lot longer than I'm accustomed to, to do my hair.. so the makeup ended up quite simplistic today. Still pretty though.. what do you think?

I think the makeup looks nice. Think that more matte colors would have been nice around the eyes. The flat iron work looks nice, but I remember that I damaged my hair this summer when using one for curls.

I have a hate relationship with my flat iron, because it takes me like a whole hour just on my hair to straighten it. It helps if I blow dry the top part straight and just focus on the ends where the curls get crazier. I also use a comb right next to the flat iron and brush it in the same movement that I use to straighten it... it seems to help me go over it less. I actually really like making curls with my straightening iron more than I like straightening with it.
