Laura Gellar's Spackles : Your Opinions?

Ok, so I'm new to Primers of all kinds, and I recently picked up one by Cinema Secrets. It's good, but light, and if I'm going to continue to build my tools, I know I'm going to need something a bit denser for rougher skin.

I heard Laura Gellar's Face Spackle was perfect for this, and I also heard her lip and eye spackles were quite spectacular as well. I'm wary of testing out makeup at Sephora because Lord knows what people have these days.

Any thoughts?

I love Spackle!!
However, it is kind of moist and I only wear it in the winter because it makes my skin feel really nice under foundation when the weather gets cold. When it's really hot the stuff makes foundation a little slippery on skin.

I like Spackle as well, it's great for dry skin. Apply a very thin layer and let it dry completely before proceeding with makeup application.

I tried Spacle in Sephora yesterday. It was slow to dry on me because it was thin in texture, and the ingediants on the box are totally non comedogenic. Also, its mostly dimethecone. Dimethicone does for the complexion what simethicone does for the stomach-it calms, takes away irritation, and coats. It's too thin for a middle aged person's lines, but as a makeup base, the ingrediants are very solid (dimethicone, nutraceuticals) and its a large container for the money. If I was 30 and not 45, this would be the brand I would use.

I got the spackle primer as a sample from a Sephora order, & unfortunately it makes me sensitive skin extremely red. When I first used it I found myself applying more foundation to cover the red, so I haven't used it since.
