lip products

I have a problem with all lip products. When I wear them it makes me look like I have a mustache. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem. I do not have any hair there, I can't feel anything, or see anything. I would love to wear more stuff on my lips besides chapstick. Any tips? TIA

Can you post a photo example so that we can have a better idea of what might work as solutions?

Darker lipsticks cast darker shadows. Try a light concealer on your upper lip and powder it well. The upper lip is an area of hyperpigmentation for many women from conditions like melasma (hormonal changes like pregnancy, birth control, sun exposure, and smoking).

I always try the opposite regarding powder; for me powder on the upper lip creates more of a shadow on the light hairs that are there. So, I always try to minimize any actual powder on or above the upper lip.

Not everyone has hair on their upper lip area. Powder would help set concealor or Dermablend or Covermark.
