Low-end, good quality brushes!

I am looking for low-end, good quality brushes for pretty much everything, but more specifically eyeliner and eyeshadow brushes.

I'm not from the US, but my sister is there atm, so was wondering what are some must have brands and what type of brushes should I look out for? Also, where can they be purchased from? I've heard great things about Sonia Kashuk from Target, but was wondering if there were any alternative brands I should look for.

Loew-Cornell artist (paint) brushes are GREAT. Also, the CVS Essence of Beauty brand is good too.

Going to have to agree with some of you ladies.. the CVS esscense of beauty crease duo brushes are really good those are the only ones that i have tried! Loew corrnell paint brushes maxines mop are amazingg hehe and sonia kashuk sold at target.. some of my forst brushes were elf and they are a dollar each I still use those
