MAC 182 buffer brush from CCO

I just bought the 182 from my local CCO and I'm pretty certain they sell authentic MAC items being an Estee Lauder outlet. However, I just found it odd that my brush was made in China and really smelled funny after I washed it. It didn't shed much either and it seems pretty solid. I checked the container (plastic round tube-shaped), sleeve it came in, and imprint on the handle and it looks pretty legit.

Just wondering and wanting to confirm that the 182 is now made in China or has it always??

My 182 came in the same packaging and it says China on the back, I bought it directly from MAC.

they do sell authentic items. sometimes words on the label will not be in English. My embark had Russian on it. They sell overseas stock at the CCO too.

^ Yep, I have bought things from the UK at CCO's here in the US and they've even given me the MAC bags from other countries (the web address on them is for the UK
