MAC 219 brush, OUCH!

Ok, I got this brush last year in Nordstroms Anniversery set and it's stiff as hell! Is it suppose to be that way? I mean, it's starting to hurt! Also, does soes Sonia Kashuk make a brush that is comparable to the 219?

Hrm, is this right after washing? Perhaps you need to use a gentler cleaner? I got my 219 the same time as yours but mine is still fine. :shrug: It could also be a dud, but that's usually w/ the parts of the brush being put together, not the bristles themselves.

To me the white bristle brushes tend to be a bit harder anyways, what are you using it for exactly? Maybe just use it to slighly line the lower lash line with powder or to apply color to the crease and blend it out with another brush?

I use it to apply color to the outer V, then I blend it with a 217 and I use it for under the lower lashline. I can't imagine own painful it would be to try to blend with it!
