Platinum pigment makes a great mascara when you mix it with the lash mixing medium!

I want my mother effing glitter. Right now. I've searched high and low for 3d silver. I found a girl on ig who had one, and then her son dropped it ):

This is why kids should never be allowed near make-up.

If I ever have them, it'll be a in a room that is locked so they can't get to it. The amount of money I've spent, and will probably spend before I ever decide to have kids - I wouldn't risk it going wrong. I don't trust another adult with it all, let alone a child.

And this is why I hide my makeup away from people. Some of the stuff I can't buy again and I don't trust most of the sellers on eBay and Amazon when it comes to authenticity

Amen. My girlfriend has a niece that is 4, and knows I'm a makeup artist. She wasnt and isnt being taught the 'don't touch what's not yours' rule, so when she comes over I make sure there is not one piece of any of my makeup out. I even close the door to my vanity room so she doesn't even think to ask. I gringe at the idea of her running amuck in there.

Same thing with my nephew, he doesn't know the meaning of 'see and don't touch'. Last month, I went to the PRO store with him and his eyes were fixed on the pigments and glitters like they were sweets. Baring in mind that he just turned 3, but that's not the point. I don't trust my nephew with any thing in my makeup draws, that's why I hide all my glitters and pigments away from him. Even if it's something that I don't use anymore, I lock it out of his view

On that note, I cringe when there are kids at my counter. I get it, it's like a heaven of colors and small things that they can (unfortunately) easily grab. What pisses me off is when parents don't control their kids in that situation. I know that they don't think past themselves to remember that what they mess up, we have to pick up and clean. And no, not everyone thinks kids are cute when they are messy. Sorry, but not sorry.

My eyes are everywhere when I take my nephew out. For me, it's a case of 'don't touch that' 'sit your backside down' 'don't make me slap you' 'don't make me ring your mother'. I end up getting pissed off him and take him back to his mother after 30mins

I don't understand why discipline isn't used anymore. Kids don't know what the word NO means

I'm happy I can leave my makeup out without my son bothering it. I told him its all "girlie stuff"!. He screws his face up and walks away. He doesn't even bother me when I'm applying it :)
