PrettyHere's me wearing Stereo Rose on my cheeks and Rose Lily lipstick. Loving 3/4 of my haul, pretty good I guess lol.

Thanks Elegant -One! Rose Lily has turned out to be the Renegade Sleeper of the collection! On both young and old (umm..my 54th cough,cough, Birthday was this week- {rapid-blinking-back actual recognition of surviving a half a century of academically and artistically wild, kaleidoscopic living}) this color just magically morphed on the lips into what i had always wanted MAC's Budding Love to look like on my rather claret red lips- much more shimmering luminous -less flat mono-toned.My daughter gifted me with both SnapD and HH as well- and while i fully expected to make space in my purse for a year round supply of SnapD- it is Rose Lily that has left me thoroughly captivated. Despite appearing alarmingly translucent and ethereal on Christine's swatched lips- i have found it to be beautifully build-able.A decidedly sophisticated spring pink-ultra feminine. Your swatches are spot on!

Snapdragon. I have very pigmented lips so in the picture it almost looks like an everyday natural pink, but it definitely has a purple look to it to me.

A subtle peach hue. Hmm...and sparkles. All of this I didn't notice until I re-swatched. I guess I was hoping for lavender in which I don't see.

Well. After all the talk and pics of this collection. I have to say, I'm pretty damn disappointed. I was totally set to spend a good chunk on this and most of it, is just not great. I'm really unhappy with the new formulation for the MSF'S I'm not interested in PT. I don't prefer lavender tones on my skin. It makes me look dead. But, I was looking forward to backing up my beloved SR. But, this deluded formula makes me cry! I understand that it's not BAD per say. But, I wanted the OLD version. This just shows up as a VERY pale peach highlight on my NW15 skin. I have at least ten other highlights that do that. As for the MES There's nothing that stands out to me as unique. I was kinda bummed about that. I love the formula. But, for makeup junkies like me, you run into A LOT of recycled colors from MAC and every makeup company has some variation of the same color. I can only have so many colors of green, brown, purple and pink eyeshadows. Maybe if they were duo-chromes, that would have been awesome! The liners were a pass. They are very pretty but, again. They look like they should have been a paint pot and not a liner. I think they have been relying too much on those and not enough releases on new paint pot colors. When was the last time you've seen them release any new colors? Not since the release of the Pro long wear line. And even then, it was pretty underwhelming. The pigments are pretty. I might pick up Pink Pearl and Lily-White but, I'm not sure I need them in my life. I'm sad that some of you aren't liking Azalea in the Afternoon. I kinda figured it wouldn't show up on paler skin as a blush. I do however think Petal Power is a BEAUTIFUL blush. I'm sure I'll be ordering that one, since I only own one other blush, that might be a dupe (Sleek Rose Gold) but, maybe a better texture? And I think I'm going to cave and pick up Snapdragon l/s. It's the only lippy I don't have a million of. The other lippy's are SO pretty! But, again. Same color different formula. Now. I'm not hating on MAC. I've been collecting for several years now. But, when they churn out collection, after collection and recycle the same colors over and over again, you tend to feel underwhelmed. I hate saying that I'm not wowed by a collection! I miss some of the creativity, they used to have. Maybe some of the upcoming collections will be better. I hope so anyways. RANT OVER! WHEW!! I guess I needed to get that off my chest Damn! LOL!!

mine looks the same on me. Its def a great color to wear daily in the spring. I hope u bac it up it looks great on u. I kno I eill be backin this up and heavenly hybrid!Snapdragon. I feel like tomorrow is going to consist of me sitting at my vanity with all my brushes….and lots of MAC wipes. HAHA! Oh well, gotta get the face beating into submission so we don't walk out of the house like clowns, right?!?!
