I'm not too excited for this collex which is good since I'm broke. It's the kind of collex I would have gone wild for a couple years ago though. A very pretty collex. I'll probably just get Perf Topping and the chartreuse piggie maybe. The red coral lippie looks nice but idk. I feel like I have too many corals.

Ty or this hunny I'm actually debating this same thing cause I have LS... Would you say they're as similar as te picture looks like? We're skin twins so if this is as = as this pic portrays i don't need PT. I was getting real tempted cause PT is supposed to be a huge deal from bak in the day bla bla but if it's close to lightscapade I'm good Yay! #team low buy! So I'll only be getting one of the blushes (depending on further swatching) and stereo rose.

I think they are kind of similar except Perfect Topping has a little more pink in it. I was trying to show it using the flash but my iphone sucks lol. It is a very slight difference in my opinion. If you have LS I would skip it #team low buy !!

Don't worry it has nothing to do with being new, we all just have different preferences I'm not crazy about lustres because I prefer my lipsticks to be opaque.

That being said...

If we get some dang swatches of these lipsticks I am not averse to a mind change

Yeah with all the lippies being lustres, I'll probably pass. I'm starting to neglect my lustres because my lips are dryer than usual or reacting badly to them or something. Now if they were cremesheens...

Wow! I don't know how to process this! With my collector brain or my new low buy brain! This is SO difficult for me! I've been lusting PT for as long as I can remember!! I don't know if my low buy brain is strong enough to handle this info ... But I'll try. Thank you for the swatches and analysis! You are an awesome supporter woman!

Thanks again beautiful! Yes, something about temp changes or something... But I'm not completely sold. My backups are stored in a temp consistent place. Never even opened. And when checking, I've discovered snow on some of those lipsticks. Something gets wonky w that Lustre formula. To me, in pencils, it just seems dry or something. MacGuy I think said he wouldn't trust it or risk it. I tend to agree w that. Who really knows? We need Scooby & Shaggy to solve the mystery! Heehee I know it's enough to make me hold back on getting too many Lustres at a time. Good thing about the formula... I can get through them pretty darn quick w regular use. So someday soon I may be allowed another!

It's not only the temperature where you store them, but the temperature fluctuations they go thru from the distribution center to the store. That's why some of them you can buy straight from the store with snow on them. Or even where they're ordered from and shipped to your home. They aren't stored and transported in consistent temperatures. Anywho, all it is is the fats changing from the different temperatures. Just like with chocolate. Happens to all chocolate too. It's still safe to eat and cook with. It just looks a little funny.

Ok. Ladies. I need your help! I've heard such great things about Perfect Topping and Stereo Rose and how everyone seems to love them. I don't have either one of them but don't know if I need to get them both. Having just read and seen the pictures of PT vs Lightscapade I'm doubting getting PT even though at first that was a definite purchase for me. Sooooo here's my list of MSFs and EDSFs please let me know if either PT or SR (or both) should be part of my collection.

I don't mind lustres. I'll probably get the coral one. Any recs on these MSFs? I hear everyone raving about PT but I'm too sure about it. I'm MM 3.0 (jeez, I don't know which coloring to affiliate myself with anymore. Used to be NC40 until I tried MM foundation. Haha)

I don't mind the lipsticks. They're as close to lipgloss as I'll get. I reallllly want to see that "berry" color, I'm on the fence about it. The only lame thing about them is they don't have much wear time. Mattes I can eat and still have lipstick. If I talk too much with a lustre, its coming off lol.

Some of mine have worst snow then others. Basically the ones I actually wore, or are older, have it. I eventually toss those out.

Thank you so much, rocksteady baby! The swatches are very helpful. I don't have Lightscapade, but as I'm also on team low buy, I want to rationalize NOT getting PT by telling myself it's almost the same as Lightscapade, which I can get anytime since it's perm. Plus, I do have the pink highlighter from Baking Beauties so I bet PT isn't too different from that one, either.
