So I've been meaning to cut down on my buying, but this is obviously not the collection that I'm gonna start with. But that is ok because there isn't much I want from the collections coming out after this.

Do you ever end up getting to your backups of things like fluidline/blush? I can't imagine the concept of finishing a product like that and then having 1 or two in addition lol.

... so I called my MAC girl to guide me on what to get for launch. I love her, she's the sweetest ever. She was super busy but I asked about a few lipsticks quick.  These are her descriptions: Rose Lily- looks exactly like snob but in lustre form. She said on me it will look how I always wanted snob to look without looking 'thick' like snob does. Snapdragon- is like no other color they have had. It is a pink with lavender undertones and the most comparable is Asian flower but it's not as purple. I asked if it was like pink popcorn and she said no where near it and this color is all the girls favorite in the store. heavenly hybrid- she said it looks like 'on hold' or 'plumful', I said I have pigmented lips and she said not to get it then because it will look just like plumful on me. Perfect Topping-  veining is pretty than the last release and has more lavender to it. This is all i bothered her for because it's all i'm interested in. She did say the winners of the collection are the lipsticks and that most of the girls are getting all of them. Hope this helps UPDATED: Called her back to ask about blushes and she said: They are not 'frosty' or shimmery but the texture is exactly like gentle.  the redder has a pink and gold in it  the pink one is just like dainty   

Cool. Thanks for the descriptions. I only planned on getting Snapdragon and Perfect Topping. This will be a cheap haul and I love it.

Wow, this is becoming a really easy skip for me! I may pick up sassy moss, and will definitely check out the blushes in person, but those lipsticks are looking super sheer and I easily have something comparable in my stash. Oh well! Money saved!

Way to much gold shimmer in Petal Power MB. Giving that the boot off my list in favour of Dreaming Dahlia.

So far I'd like to get:

Azalea in the Afternoon

For the sake of my low buy, I hope I can knock a few more things off the list after we see more swatches.

This is probably the only possible temptation for me. Snapdragon looks/sounds like newness and lavender/violet/orchid is hot now. I've got to check my stash (and, for the love of god, get some more swatches! This is getting down to the wire.).

Omg, I remember my boy band days. But, when I think boy band it's New Kids on the Block lol! I had their pics all over my room around the age of 11 or so lol. Ya, I'm dating myself. BSB were out when I was in HS so never really got into them personally although was aware.  On topic: swatches please! I am thinking of getting galaxy rose from my local cco as it's cheaper there lol. I really don't have that many glosses compared to lipsticks.

NKOTB FOREVER! My side of me and my sister's room was decked out! They are still the only boy band I have ever really been into unless you count Boyz II Men and Jackson 5 as boy bands. lol

What's MAC's return policy? I plan to order online, and although the swatches haven't deterred me from the shades that I originally wanted, there is still a chance I'll hate them. If I bring in the receipt should it be fine?

You will have to pack it up an return it in the mail--and they prefer shipping that is insured which is costly!

Agreed! I thought Phylox (spelling?) Garden would be more violet purple, not magenta - and I definitely did not expect the patchy-ness!
