Thank you, liba! I have very high hopes for AitA! Just hoping for no allergy issues on my end! That is the only product I'm excited for now. I think I will just skip Playful Petal CSG too and focus on glosses I do have, both opened and unopened. I have Sakura (bought it last October at a CCO), and really like that, although I am wondering if I got a defective one or I am not using the right brush. I have a hard time getting it to show up without caking it on, which shouldn't be the case with my skintone.

For my green eyes, I have to have a darker green or a lighter green for eyeshadow or liner. Sassy Moss is that kind of unfortunate middle ground medium shade for me where I start to look funky. I learned that with the Color Tattoo. Expected it to look amazing and... not so much.

I'm thrilled for your enthusiasm over your goodies! I want to get to a point where I feel that way about 90% of what I buy! I have too much stuff I am just "okay" with or that I just like "well enough." I want to really love most of my products!
Sounds like you should try a 188 or other skunk brush with Sakura, so that you get a very light amount on.

Sassy Moss is actually quite light - it's strong and bright so it really shows up amazingly - it's SO matte. I love it and I've got green eyes - it's totally eye brightening and doesn't compete with my eye color at all! Don't be afraid of it. Phlox Garden is amazing on green eyes too and is very similar to Resort, except it's so dense and matte and pigmented. It's also a teeny touch more purple, but just barely. They're not rated for the waterlines, but who cares - these colors are MEANT for groovy winged liner.

Both f/ls are super smooth and creamy and you can get a really detailed effect. Because they're so creamy, they're not heavy. I would NOT call them not opaque enough at all. If they were heavier and sludgier, you couldn't easily get a really fine wing. Because they're so smooth, you can always do a second layer for a high matte, strong look and you can do the second layer so that it blends perfectly into your first layer without patchiness or clumping.

These fluidlines have a strong pigmented effect that just glows. So gorgeous!!! Everyone who gets them is going to love them - just don't be afraid to rock a colored wing. They were meant for it!

I know the PT is a sensitive topic but my replacement arrived.

Here is a picture of both together. Fridays on top, today's on bottom

They swatch identical. My thoughts are that I'm disappointed because I really wanted a pink so I purchased dior rose diamond instead. Dior has never let me down or deceived me. I feel like MAC was a big let down and even though I like the new PT feel and color I have to remember it's not what I ordered. Would I have liked the old PT better? Probably not now that I think about how close it looks to my star wonder when swatched so then the question is am I happy it's different or am I annoyed. Honestly, I'm annoyed. I know some of you posted veining doesn't matter and you're right, but this has nothing to do with veining. This is an entirely different product from what I see in their picture. This is not pink in any way shape or form no matter how far I dig my brush into it. A part of me wants to keep it because it is pretty and the other part of me wants to smash it and mail it back (yeah I wouldn't but the thought made me giggle). As pretty as it is I was deceived by their picture on their website. I'm not talking about what I see on YouTube or the pictures that I see on here from past collections. To me that's worse. I didn't assume it would be the same, I didn't hope it would be the same, I purchased a product with a picture and description on the MAC website and that is not what they sent. Twice. So my final thoughts, I'm not happy at all and yes this will affect my purchasing for the future. I think if Chanel did this everyone would be more outraged because of cost. For me, I pay $30 for these msf's and I think if I got a pro discount it wouldn't have bothered me as much because it's the price of something that usually tells us to return it, keep it or throw in drawer. The way I see it is that it doesn't matter to me whether it was released before or not, if it looks like everyone else's or not, it's the fact that it does not look like the product they are selling on their website right now and that's not acceptable. :)
I can understand your disappointment esp because we do pay full prices for our makeup. If I could do it over...I most likely would not have ordered PT. I had the original SR, so I was interested in PT solely. Well it wasn't a complete fair for me. I do enjoy my lipstick at least. I hope you were able to purchase something from the collection that you were happy with other than PT.

oh dear

there are two ways to think about it: old school think: it should have some semblance of the old PT.. or a reasonable facsimile of it.

new school think: the technology has "improved" so much and the colour along with it which makes it a different animal from the old PT.

it's up to you.. do you like it?

Great swatches! Apparently, the number and letter has to do with the botanical classifying system of flowers, or something like that (or so someone said earlier on in the thread).

Finally got my goodies..UPS was soooooooooooo late.

I LOVE everything! I BU HH & DD they are so pretty. Snapdragon is my favorite on. The lipsticks are divine on! The texture is silky & the colors are soft & sexy yet pigmented.

Azalea blush is pretty but much lighter in color than I expected it to be. The glow it gives is really pretty.

I think it's pretty! I'll admit I was looking at the old swatches online when I ordered, so that was what I wanted but if this wasn't called perfect topping, I probably would have bought it too lol

Someone asked about Naked Bud being similar to Touché Huggable and they are super close. Hard to tell the difference on the lips Touché & Naked Bud
