Lipstick Comparisons
On around NW15 skin

L-R: MAC Creme D' Nude, MAC Fleur D' Coral, MAC Hue, Nyx Fun Size, Revlon Pink Lemonade

FDC was almost a mix between CDN and Hue. Definitely not as orange as some swatches I've seen had appeared!

Sunlight

Natural indirect lighting

Sunlight

L-R: MAC Snapdragon, Revlon Cupcake, MAC Rose Lily, Revlon Primrose

Cupcake and Rose Lily are nearly identical. RL is just a bit brighter and slightly cooler.

Sunlight

Sunlight

L-R: Revlon Blase Apricot, MAC Dreaming Dahlia, Maybelline Vibrant Mandarin, Maybelline Strike a Rose

Although in the tube they seemed different, Revlon BA and DD are very very close in the swatch. DD is sheerer than BA.

I'm loving all the lipsticks I ordered. HH is my favorite as I love this type of shade, and it wasn't very drying. DD and SD are lovely too, but both feel a bit drying on my lips. I'll have to try them with my P&P. PP blush is just pure love! No surprise there. I tried to make AITA work, but no such luck. I can definitely see some color if I layer it on (2-3x) with my 116, but it's not a good look because it becomes quite frosty real quick. I don't like it as a highlighter either. It just didn't look right. Sad to say... it's going back. I love both liners and the CSG's too. Well, GR and SQ are just BU's, but I wouldn't get BU's if they weren't so great! PP CSG is nice too. Love it on SD! I did swatches and full-face photos, but my laptop keeps dying on me, so I can't upload them right now. It just won't stay on. It's a 3-year old gaming laptop, so it's been thru a lot. LOL! I guess it's time to get a new one.

Snapdragon. HH. Dreaming Dahlia. I am so impressed with these lipsticks and how they work on my pigmented lips. They are much more emollient than any other Luster that I have tried. They sink into the lips instead of sitting on top and looking weird (my pigmented lips-girls will know what I'm talking about!). Also... I am a fair skinned redhead, so finding light pinks that look right is tough. Snapdragon works. HH is my new go-to purple and DD is a FABULOUS red-orange for us redheads. Thumbs up to these lippies!

Tried out Perfect topping today all over my face. NC15 for reference. Hourglass Radient Magenta for blush. :)

I actually like PT as an all over powder for my face. It gives just enough color and it's not shimmery at all.

I love the nail polish color! Would you mind telling me which brand/shade it is?

sure.. lol

it's a Sally Hansen -- let me read the bottle one sec...

it's no. 360 "Nailed it"

Side bar: Although I will spend on CD, Guerlain, Chanel polishes -- they only last a few days on my fingers without chipping..
