MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (February 6, 2014)

I wanted to ask a question about the labeling on these lipsticks. Usually my lipsticks arrive from MAC with an A or AB and a number which I understand to be the batch number. Both Snapdragon and Dreaming Dahlia had extra numbers on the outside of the box and the little round sticker on the bottom of the tube. I think it was 7R or something like that. At first I thought I had a very, very good fake of a MAC lipstick (I caved before the restock and got a SD from ebay). Then I ordered one direct from MAC and it had the exact same label. Does anyone know what the heck is up with that? My first thought was a label to show where it was produced but my SD and DD both from MAC had different numbers, I think 1 was 7R and the other was 7Y or soemthing like that--I don't have them with me to compare. So my next thought was they are trying to make them harder to duplicate or to somehow indicate which collection or restock they come from to make it hard to return fakes or to make it harder to fake the products.

My first SD was from the first stock and the 2nd SD was from the restock, so that isn't it either. I am just confused.

IDK but I am sure am curious about the labeling and don't recall this has come up yet, although I will admit I have not read every post in this thread, it has been hard for me to keep up lately.
They are the botanical numbers of the flowers So yes, those numbers/letters are meant to be on the boxes

I'm NC50 and petal power does not show up on me. I only get the gold sheen, which is more of an everyday highlight for me. Think of it as told deposit lite. I was going to return it (I would sell it in the clearance bin but don't do paypal) but pulled out to use yesterday after seeing a video someone posted up thread. I'm still on the fence honestly.

I immediately packed and gifted my swap of Petal Power. Got a goodie package in return so was more than worth it. PP was the only item I desired for FoF and honestly it did not work for me. I am a NW 47 Studio Fix foundation

I just got perfect topping and i adore it. soooo glad i got mine. it is the perfect highlighter for when u dont want chunky glitter on your face. i wore it on friday and it just made my skin look more awake and brought out my cheek bones.

i saw the video on YouTube and I fell in love with the sheen it gave msdanti?. None of my highlighters look like that in pics. But then again I rarely remember to take pics when I actually do wear my highlighters.

Unfortunately, I didn't try that one. I was trying to stay on budget with this collection and initially only bought stereo rose, which I really like. But then I saw all the lovely specktrettes with petal power and darling dahlia so I bought those too. But let me know if you try AitA. I'm sure I could be persuaded to buy it. Lol.

I will most likely keep it because, like you, I don't have anything like it. Maybe I should use it like msdanti did (use it in more places than just my cheekbones). How have you been using it?

It reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient lighting powders a bit. I needed one like that since i have Porcelen pink, refined, northern lights, glissade, rose quartz, scene to be seen, superb, and a few others i cant remember of the top of my head. But my point is those are lovely, but chunky sparkles. So its so nice to have a different one that just give me a glow from within!! And it is sooo smooth its like a dream to apply. you cannot really over do it. Next time i get my pics taken im going for that one for sure!!

I absolutely love perfect topping 2014. It glows on me like you said. And It doesn't sparkle, it's almost like a hybrid of MSFNatural and a highlighter. I am teamlowbuy but I found this backup worthy for me. I've been using it everyday and I know I'm definitely going to go through this one pan. Going to wait for March to back it up though.
