I ended up only getting Yield to Love. I might pick up Fun Ending and Reckless Desire still but there's so many collections coming out (from other brands too) I just don't need everything

I ordered Lingering Kiss because I've been absolutely obssessed with vampy lippie lately. I hope it doesnt pull too brown on me. Might get HA and GK at the store next week because im equally obsessed with Matte lipsticks. I need to see swatches on similar skintones before I make my final decision.

If that's the case, hopefully MAC will reinstate early access for Pros. However, they policy makes clear that they can change terms and conditions at any time, thus I'm not surprised. Personally, I don't mind paying for special packaging. I only buy my personal must-haves (and those usually in bulk), but I honor the fact that LE packaging is more expensive to produce.

If MAC reinstated early access for Pros for all their collections, that would be nice .... but doing that for a special packaging collection would really irk me, due to the fact that I couldn't get it with my Pro discount. It's like window shopping without a dime in your pocket. As far as cosmetic companies passing the cost onto us for their "special packaing", that should rest solely on them. They are the ones who decided to make the collection that way. It should be on their dime; not mine. It's just another one of their marketing ploys to really push a product. I don't feel sorry for them at all. They are making a ton of money. If I take it even one step further, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a certain ratio of collections they decide to make with "special packaging" or with certain designers, so they don't have the Pro discount cutting into their profit margin. I just don't like it. hboy:

I ordered anyway to avoid skippers remorse but I've seen a few swatches that has me worried. I heard its similar to Fixed On Drama, which I initially HATED!...it grew on me eventually. I hope its not the same with this one.

Here's Satin Taupe, Indianwood and Superwatt. When you mix ST and IW the overlaying metallic bronzey sheen is practically identical but the ST made the base greyish purpley color. When you shift the colors they look very close though.
