MAC A Novel Romance Collection (Aug 21, 2014)

Oh boy, I haven't been around for a long time. I totally forgot about this collection and wasn't interested in it after I had seen the first promo pics but the more I think about it the more I'm sure that I will get something. Man, being a makeup addict can be so exhausting at some times.
If I'll get anything I'd love to buy Yield to Love but - oh, what a surprise! - it'll be online exclusive over here and I won't order from the MAC OS as they regularly screw orders up. I like two of the eyeshadow quads (the neutral one and the violet one) and both blushes. Considering I just bought the Showstopper quad I'll probably skip those and get a blush or something. If I can bring myself to spend money on makeup since I just had to buy a new laptop because mine broke unexpectedly.

I think you got the bases covered very well. I see those items as the essentials and if I had to pick one quad, yeah, it would be the purples!

Now I'm debating on the An Amorous adventure palette for the blue but it's not worth it just for the blue coz i have too many browns and i don't like the black in that palette

So, tried on GK today. It's pretty but it's waaaay too bright. Blotted it down and it's still pretty bright. Can I get liner suggestions to tone it down? If I can't make it work it's getting exchanged.

Finally! Someone who feels the same way about GK as I do. It is way too bright for me. I am taking mine back. I'd rather get another Flat Out Fabulous.
