Dear Nordstroms,
Why do you tease us with your confusing release dates for the Rose Is A Rose quad? How come it didn't come out with the rest of the the Rose Romance collection like it should (in my opinion of course lol)? Why did it have to come out on the 20th? Then tell me that it may be coming out on the 25th? WTheeecckkkk!!!....
yup that's what my Nordstroms said, the 25th! and the funny thing is that it may be because "they're waiting for more to stock up"... !

Is solar white similar to creme royal? I'm in LOVE with creme royal and would love a dupe for it since I'm not willing to buy a backup of the lucky tom palette just for this alone.

OK, so I passed on this collection to save some cash----BUT then I read on here that Silverthorn was a VP so I went to get that and also ended up with Of Summer and the new P&P Powder. I did stop there however. You guys are such enablers, but then again I'm an easy pushover when it comes to e/s or any cosmetics.

Nope, they're not all that similar. Solar white is a frosy buttery gold shade once on. I find Creme Royal to be a more straight up light yellow-ish colour. I definitely don't think getting an entire palette to back-up one colour is worth it though. Wait it out and it just may get repromoted down the road.

stv578- Thanks for your advice! I think you might have misread what I wrote, though. I definitely wasn't going to get the quad for 1 backup color. I already pre-ordered the quad, but I was hoping that solar white would be similar based on the swatch and being as how I love creme royal so much. I would've been happy if it was a dupe
Based on the swatches the colors look gorgeous, but I heard one of the colors (can't think of the name right now) looks like Paradisco and another looks like Stars n Rockets. I already have these, so can someone tell me is it worth getting this quad. I don't have contrast but it is perm.

Check in the clearance bin - I'm sure I saw one in there the other day that had been depotted from the quad (Creme Royal).
i wore silverthorne over my lid yesterday with circa plum in the crease. it was a very pretty soft look. i'm still not wowed by silverthorne as i expected to be, but it's still a very pretty silver so pleased i have it. maybe it's because i'm used to wearing more dramatic colours
