I don't have enough experience to know the costs :/ The post office site should be able to help, though!

Hoping they show dimensions of their parcels at least, then I can use the estimator and maybe guess on the product weight..

i wonder if anyone in here has a scale and a brand new or near brand new version of a np, dg, and pm. then we can calculate weights based on that.

i have the new pigment jars but none are full, i have no dgc or np by mac though so i can't weigh those

haha i'm a geek about this stuff i swear.

I have a scale at home. I used to sell a lot on ebay so I found it necessary to have. Let me know if I can help out.

i just figure if we know the weight of every item then you can add together all the items you're going to be sending, get a quote off usps.com and bam there ya go near perfect shipping!

You are a thinker. Love it. lol.

I will do it tomorrow. I have my nieces softball tournament to go to but as soon as I come back I will do all that weighing and such.

I use a small scale, also. What I do is pick the same (or similar) products with a little packaging material and plop it on the scale (e.g. two pigments and a dazzleglass creme). Then I go to usps.com to get an estimation. I usually add an ounce or so, since my scale isn't totally accurate.

usps will also weigh packages for you and give you an estimation if you take a package to them. Definitely PM with any questions.

Weight and volume are two different things. Volume, which I believe is what MAC uses to measure product, is a measurement of mass, and doesn't necessarily equal weight. The amount of product is what is listed on the packaging, and does not include the weight of the packaging.

You'll probably get a much closer estimate by weighing similar products together.

i meant like weighing a np on a scale :/ so you know what it is w/ packaging. or a pm or dazzleglass. then each one is going to be the entire weight. then you just add whatever together(say a np is 1oz a dg is .75oz a pm is .5oz and you've got 3np, 2dg and a pm it'd be 7oz?) those were totally overweight btw.

I didn't have a chance to weigh anything yet, but I will do it tomorrow if I get a chance. Have to wait for the gas man to come between the hrs of 7am and 5pm. Should be a fun day >=[

Oh also... got word today from my MA at nordies that they (I am assuming all nordies...?) will be carrying this collection! Yay!

She said they were already told about it coming to them at update. I told her to be sure for sure cuz I needed to know BAD! lol. She said she would confirm one more time from her mgr tomorrow. But so far she says yes. Stay tuned....

i hate waiting for utility companies. when we moved in here it was the day of my 21st birthday and i was irritated. no water, gas, noooothing. made me upset and i ended up yelling at the ppl like it was their fault. oops

^ It's crazy! It was their fault they turned it off, it was an "accident" on their part. Yet we have to wait these ridic hrs for them to come...? Wth man....

We went the whole weekend with no hot water! Luckily my gram lives directly across the street from us so we could walk over and shower. We even told them there was kids in the house (my sis lives here with her 10 month old and I have a 9 yr old). They said sorry, earliest is monday. I was beyond pissed at them.

^ I was very lucky! I guess I would have drove to my moms who lives like 10 mins away if I had to. It's so inconvenient though!

Ok so I'm still super excited about this collection! I can't wait to see some more pics or swatches.. anything! haha...

NP is 1.9 oz including the bubblewrap mailer, but no other packaging. I've used this one only once, so it will be anywhere between 1.9 and 2 oz.
Pigment (new packaging, unused) was 1.0 oz.
I hope this helps.
I don't have any dazzleglass creme to weigh that for you, ladies!

i like the look of two of the pigments [teal and black] and i was thinking about the pink dazzleglass creme, but i have a kajillion pink lipglosses so i'm doing the unthinkable and skipping it :O

my ex has a cousin who live in NYC so she's going to pick them up and post them to me. it's the one good thing about staying on good terms with ex boyfriends - you never know when they'll come in handy!
