Later. pigment will be repromoted in A Tartan Tale, set to launch in October as the holiday collection. As far as we know about this collection, the other two pigments have not been named to be repromoted.

I also got my pkg. today with Military inside. I really love the color but on every nail it half chipped off within 3 hours. I did the dishes but nothing to make them chip. This is my 1st Mac polish too. I'm not giving up on it just yet, maybe try more coats?? Any suggestions on it being a matte polish? My 1st matte polish, too. TIA.

I may have some things for people that missed out. I did a CP for someone and they havent gotten back to me in 3 days. I have Later, Partylicious pigments and Sparkalicious d/g. They did not pay me so if I do not hear anything from them I need to get it sold as I need the money back

I just ordered back ups of If It Sparkles and Later, as well as non back ups of So Rich So Pretty & Morning After from the MAC store in El Segundo, CA. They said that they had 3 of each pigment left. So if anyone wants a pigment from this collection & can't find one, you may want to call them asap at 310-335-9190.

Got my stuff today

I didn't try it on yet but I think I.Want.Candy is such a pretty color. Even if it doesn't end up looking good on me, I still think it's gorgeous to look at.

I also got Military. Small little haul from a small collection.

its because its a matte, that's why its chipping off so soon. that's just what mattes do. mattes from any brand say not to use a base or top coat, lotion, oils, nothing on your hands/nails, otherwise it affects the "matteness" of the polish.

I agree. I have other polishes from MAC and they wear quite well. I painted my nails with Studded (matte) on Saturday morning, and by Sunday evening it was already quite badly chipped, granted that I did get my hands dirty coz I was helping out at a BBQ. So I think the problem lies with the matte finish rather than with MAC polishes in general.

Got the chance to play with my Later. and Partylicious pigments today. Later. is simply incredible and I will probably get a backup of it when it comes out in A Tartan Tale and I very rarely back anything up, especially not pigments! I didn't do a lot with Partylicious today, but I'm going to work with it more tomorrow. It seems pretty great so far.

Haven't posted in a few days but I have been using my A+O stuff like crazy!!! My nails right now are Military (I agree about the matte finish = chipping, by the way) and I have Later on my eyes with the dark purple from Stacked 1!. Love all this stuff.

yeah this is why i don't get on well with matte polishes. i love how they look but you can only wear them for one day - and that is after you have applied make up and moisturiser - and by that point i don't have the time!

yea that is what upset's me soo much I love the matte polishes I have but I get to frustrated trying to get them to work and it never does

i just spoke to the mac live chat person and he mentioned that they will not be restocking alice+olivia cos its very limited!! is that true? i was so hoping for it to be restocked this week!

I use Orly Bonder basecoat when I wear Mattes, and it works really well to extend the life of the matte colors a little, it's a sticky type of basecoat. Also, I use as thin of a coat as I can manage, and just do an extra one if I need to. If you use topcoat it will extend the wear, but it can change the look of the polish drastically, not in a bad way usually though.

how does the orly work when it comes to reg. polish?

my nails are oily and i can't even go a day usually without chipping or the whole damn thing peeling off in one piece! need to find something. cuz i am impatient and i can't sit forever while my nails dry(even screw up w/ seche vite some days cuz i can't sit still!)
