I can't imagine that MAC will repromote it any time soon. There aren't too many NW10-15 around to turn this into a product that will be repromoted in regular intervals. I bought several BU's, but I justified the purchase because (1) it won't be repromoted soon; (2) it's just perfect for NW10-15; (3) the packaging is outstanding; and (4) it's just a little bit more expensive than my d/c Estee Lauder comfort powder. Hooray for Elude!

I can't imagine what I would do with more than one of the actual compacts. And no matter how amazing I looked I would feel bad when the kids' tuition comes due and I can't help pay for it.

I'm mainly after the content; the compact comes as an added bonus. If the time comes, I might put in a refill of another powder. As it is a standard size compact, a regular refill will fit. But, of course, tuition and education is more important!

I think I may have come up with a solution to backing up Elude. I am going to send a sample to a company that does custom color blending (3 Custom Color Specialist) and see if they can dupe it. I have heard nothing but good things about this company and they could do the formula loose or pressed. They charge $60 as well but you get double the amount of product and then they keep the "recipe" on file for you to order any time you like.

Restrict is such a unique nude lippie. I loved it so much that I got 2 backups of it. :)

I also got Fervent which is a great true dark purple. It is lighter than Cyber/Smoked Purple and not as blackened. I have an order from Mac arriving soon of Outrage which I am excited about! The sparkle in that lipglass seems so unique.

Let us know how this works out! I plan on grabbing Elude, and if this company works like you said, then I'll probably do the same.

i decided to skip this collection due to the prices and the color story but..... i couldnt resist the lashes when i went to the mac store!! i cant wait to try them on new years eve!!!

When I was in Myer MAC today the girls thought they would be getting it at the end of the month...a bit longer to wait! Booo but at least it seems to be coming to stores, not online only!

Hopefully there is a heap of collections that get released at once.... I ended up caving and I have ordered Elude BP, I get this for my birthday present!

I wouldn't really trust the Myer MAC girls. The ones I've met, a lot of them didn't really know much.
