You shouldn't use hot water, but cold water also isn't good. I think cold water makes it harder to clean the brush. Just a bit hotter than lukewarm is what works for me.

You can also get little hard plastic circles with raised bumps that are used to clean brushes at art supply stores for about $1 or so. They are designed to be put at the bottom of a cup. Art supply stores can also have some pretty good prices for good synthetic brushes, esp. In the watercolour brush section. I bet some of the exact same brushes are made for both makeup and art, but a higher mark up is put on the makeup ones. Trust me telling yourself that does NOT work lol!!!! i have both of those shadows PLUS a MUFE thats super similar but I still bought Parrot...and honestly it is pretty unique swatched next to those colors

Juxt in the tearduct, bio green on the inner half of the lid, parrot on the outer half of the lid and deep truth in the outer V. The colours are more vibrant IRL. I like the combo...

Au contraire my friend. Greens make the blue come out more. The blue of parrot and deep truth cancels it out a bit but when I wear greens on my eyes they really stand out - in a good wayI am also blue eyed. And i thought we could not wear greens.
