I hardly ever read any of the comments there. I go for mainly for the reviews/swatches and to try to win her give-a-ways. BTW, does anyone ever win those? LOL.
I won once! I think I won MAC Easy Lounger lipglass, or one of the To the Beach lipglasses, anyway. Christine was very pleasant and prompt with sending it. She really runs her blog well. But I'm always a little wary of blog comment sections... Edit- sorry about the double post!

i think sassy grass was also similar to taboo by illamasqua. like very. i was kind of wondering why i had bought them both...that's why i'm not even remotely tempted by HK

Well this one is orange, and DD and ablaze are coral, not orange.

Funny it's still snowing here this week. Suppose to snow again Monday and Thursday next week so I don't know why the lipstick became sweaty. Definitely not from heat. And it's almost May. Oh life in the Arctic.

Thanks for the info! It does look like a sweaty lipstick bullet. lol

Gosh, this is why I stopped reading Temptalia a long time ago. I can't get my MAC info releases without the same lame usernames whining about how MAC puts out too many LEs and bashing the brand. Some regular mac basher even had the audacity to say MAC is a brand only "entry level employees can afford" under the Office Hours collection comments. Oh the drama. That's why I moved over to Specktra to bask in the positive vibes and get my accurate information without those bad vibes.

Big *surprise* T didn't approve your comment. SMH.
I think it is fair that people express their opinions. There is nothing wrong with criticism, But on Temptalia it seems like it has become a game. That's all. And since people are allowed to express their opinion, so am I, right?

I am not really surprised that my comment wasn't put up on the site although what I wrote was written in a respectful way I think. Perhaps she didn't put it up to avoid fights? I don't know.
Good that you came to Specktra!

I love being here too.I value the opinions of my fellow Specktrettes a whole lot more whether they are positive or negative.

Is it possible she hasn't gotten around to approving it yet? I know what you mean about the MAC bashing being like a game. It irks me too. I think it kind of comes with the territory for brands such as MAC, and is applicable in many other areas. It's a bit boring really, imo. (The bashing) Most of the time, products that don't work for some, or many, work well for others. Heck, the suite array duos worked for me, and I didn't try particularly hard. Most of the time I hear people bash MAC it boils down a lot more to personal preference than some kind of actual fact. Like buttery shadows, or shades with 'excellent colour pay-off'....not everybody wants that all the time. Anyway, I'm sure I'm not saying anything new, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. ;)

I don't know if she hasn't approved it yet. I'll check again later...Edit: I checked and it's not there.

What's more, I'm starting the T converstaion again when we could be spending that time discussing all those lovely goodies. Had to throw it out there though...

^ Wot she said. DD isn't orange by any stretch of imagination. I probably shouldn't comment on Ablaze because I haven't got it, but it doesn't look orange in pics.

Sugarpill Flamepoint is a really vibrant, matte orange with superb colour payoff (standard Sugarpill fare). Farasha seems less red than Flamepoint, so if you're after a redder sort of shade Flamepoint would be a good choice.

I have never ordered from them, how is the Customer Service and shipping/handling service and wait times??? They have such pretty colors I get overwhelmed (and a little overstimulated actually, like eating too much Halloween candy) just looking at all the pretteh colors...

Is Hajar Karim the same as Sassy Grass, Gameela roughly similar to passionate and Farasha sort of like Orange? Finally, I haven't seen Parrot in person since I was a kid. Is it really lovely or are there just too many exact dupes of it?

I got my palettes from other retailers but all my Chromalusts are from Sugarpill's own website. No problems whatsoever. I actually messed up my order and they were super helpful. I can't comment on domestic shipping times but my goodies arrived in NL in 2-3 weeks, irrc. Which is normal.

If you like your brights I'd highly recommend Sugarpill. Their pressed shadows are excellent without exception. As for the Chromalusts, I find the glittery ones such as Paperdoll, Birthday Girl and Royal Sugar hard to work with, but the rest are excellent.
