Today I did a look using Hajar Karim, Banafsaji and Parrot and love how it turned out! I even used some of my other MAC eyeshadows as well to do this look:

Played in the Rimal Dihabia quad and Hajar Karim.
Najm el Lail was patchy, but a pretty color once it's on.
Beautyburst was a dream to work with. So smooth and pigmented. Glided on!
Hajar Karim did give a little fall out since you have to build it up. It was like I was using a little more effort to get the color out of the pan.
The Brow gel creme= amazing! That's all i have on my brows! It's so smooth and easy to work with. No surprise that it's sold out. I will get another if they restock.

Please excuse the lines under my eyes...They are the result of the University of Missouri Journalism school lol

I pushed the button! I pushed the button! It takes about 8 business days to get here... so that won't be until Weds of the week after next. Sigh.

It's all y'all's fault. You made me do it...

im so proud my mac brush collection is growing.
i have been tempted to get some real technique and Eco tools brushes, but i feel like saving to get the mac ones is better.
When i wasn't sure just what brushes i'd need, i got a bunch of decent inexpensive ones to play with - EcoTools, Sonia Kashuk, Coastal Scents. That way i could try them and see which shapes i used the most, as well as get used to "new to me" shapes like the "pencil" brush (which is great for smudging a line or putting color in the crease). Decent inexpensive brushes can get you through times without MAC brushes, but for most of them there's really no comparison.

My first MAC brush was a 188 small duo fibre - stippling or "skunk" brush - which i adore! I'm now gradually upgrading. I'm still using the EcoTools concealer brush ('cuz i don't use concealer much) and the Sonia Kashuk powder brush (with the sculptured handle), but i replaced the Eco Tools foundation brush with a MAC 190 - so much better!

So, so pretty MissBeautyBunni. Glad you didn't give up on Hajar Karim because it looks lovely. Your assessment gives me an idea of what to expect and your pic here shows me how absolutely pretty it can look. I love the brow gel too. I agree it makes doing the brows so easy & pretty fast too.

I googled and the Four Paws brand Love Glove varied in price from around $6 to $10... while the Sigma glove was around $40 for pretty much the same thing.

I use warm water - not hot - when i wash my brushes. I'm sensitive to cold plus i have arthritis beginning in my hands, so i can empathize with your pain.
