My b/f took me to MAC again today to get one more liner for my b-day. I swatched once again the GPS and just can't see my buying them as they all are still almost black on me. Since I have Black Ground and would only use them as a base I will pass on them. I keep wanting to like them but maybe they'll hit the CCO and I'll get one then. Anyway I only got Industrial today so only one left to get...Black Line but I need to get a job first or sell some of my make up.

Is there a gloss product meant for eyes? Cause I think he's right that it would look gorgeous over Zinc Zone or Dirty.

yes, the gloss texture, and it will definately crease.

I've found that the GPS (for my oily lids) worked MUCH BETTER than jumbo pencils! Woot!
yahoo.gif

I'm just afraid of them drying if I buy another
ssad.gif

I used it with and without a primer.
With primer: colors still vibrant, no creasing
No primer: very very teeny creasing, color not so vibrant

It's great to hear how much better they work than jumbo pencils. I tried my first jumbo pencil the other day when I was trying to talk myself out of buying from this collection, and I was so disappointed. It creased like crazy, and I don't have what I would consider oily lids. More motivation for my spending I suppose.

Being on this thread is so addicting. I was completely determined to skip this entire collection until I wandered onto this thread a couple nights ago and started catching up. Now I have a growing list and, I even managed to convince my sister to let me pick out a couple colors for her to try. Specktra is a bad influence, but I sure do love getting that black box of goodies.

So, I'm totally in love with my GPS!

I finally got to my MAC store on Saturday and picked up Greengrease, Brown Now and Dirty. My MA did a fantastic smokey eye on me with Greengrease, Humid and Soft Brown. So pretty!
drools.gif

She blended Greengrease out on the lid with a 239. And used a 217 to apply it in the crease -- she said that the GPS seem to dry a little slower when applied like that, so there was more time to blend it.

I love how creamy and smooth the GPS are! I wore Brown Now yesterday in a purple look and today, I used Dirty as a smudged out eyeliner with some neutral-y shadows.

Now I want more! I'm seriously, seriously considering also picking up Below Ground and perhaps one other. I thought Charred Mauve was a tad dark when I swatched it, and I passed on Zinc Zone because I thought it might be redundant (I already have Sharkskin shadestick). And I didn't think I really needed Uniformly Blue, because I already have Delft p/p. But I love how versatile the GPS are, so now I'm tempted to get all of the rest! But that is NOT in my budget, so I'm trying to decide what to get.... Decisions, decisions....

Oh, I also got Designer Purple and Industrial, but I haven't even played with them yet.

I'm glad to hear every1 is enjoying their hauls! My birthday is on Thursday so I have to wait until then to get my goodies. I gave my mom n sis a list of Art Supplies goodies, In Synch lip liner, and things from the permanent collection. I have everything else I want from the other LE collections and there's a few things I have been eyeing at in the perm line but haven't been able to get b/c of all these new collections

I TRIED SO HARD not to go to the MAC counter this weekend
lol.gif
I was at the mall, and literally had to FORCE myself not to even look. GPSs are my new weakness so I knew I would have wanted to buy everything. Just a couple more days left until I get my hands on them..............

Until then, I will continue to read your reviews

Phew! Finally caught up on many many pages! Thanks to elegant, I now want Zinc Zone!! Even though before the Easter weekend, I had decided not to get it!!!
lol.gif

So I am contemplating if it is worth it to take out my backup of Slick Black to get Zinc Zone?? I want whichever is more useful to me but the reviews are making it hard!

P.S. I hope everyone had a fabulous and enjoyable Easter weekend!!!

I have a No7 one which I use as a backup for my 217 so I will use that for my GPS, good idea thanks!

Everythings online for the UK now so I ordered:
Lipstain in Style Setter and Runway Ripened
GPS in Slick Black, Greengrease and Below Ground
Pearlglides in Petrol Blue, Undercurrent and Designer Purple

I love that the GPS can stand on it's own as an eyeshadow. Adios jumbo pencils!

Guys, I'm gonna stay away from the colour collection threads for the most part in the upcoming months. But i thought i share this look I did over the weekend with u here. I used Below Ground GPS blended as base and topped it with buncha neutrals (All That Glitters, OCC Clove, Espresso, Embark and Wedge).

IMG_1364.jpg

I wore this look to a Montreal shopping trip (8am to 9pm) and experienced no fading of creasing. I love the two GPS I bought. I think along with the paint pots, the GPS are the best MAC products ever

Did you use anything under GPS?
I used UDPP before and I think it makes my GPS kind of dry off..but then I guess if I don't use UDPP underneath it, it will crease like crazy..sigh

No I didn't use anything under the GPS; GPS was my base. I don't have oily lids though. GPS and paintpots both work as primer and base for me. I wouldn't say the same thing for shadesticks and paints though
