bases for eyeshadows mostly, but whatever you do, do not use the sharpener in the end bit on them, i did this once and it effed up my gps, and then the other week i thought hmm, maybe i'll try it again... NO it ate it and smushed it all up, fool me once, shame on you mac, fool me twice shame on me! i should have known better!

I'm truly devoted to Levres Scintillantes, since my mom got me the first Chanel launched.

I never sharp them since was afraid that would happen to me!!!

I prefer to pick them with a brush trying to maintain their pointy shape. I only use them directly on my eyes as a liner, and even when lining, try to use a brush.

But yeah, it's a totally shame on MAC to provide us with a sharpener that will ruin them!!

Audrey - I love super smokey eyes. This is a dramatic example, but here is a look I did using only 2 things - Feline kohl power and Sweet Sienna pigment:

It's a dramatic look, but doable IMHO.

Now, I would not rock this for everyday, but for a night out, absolutely.

I can't wait for the GPS!

Try putting your GPS in the freezer for a bit before shapening. They are a bit soft and thats what leads to disaster when you sharpen.

Oh, forgot to mention I got off the GPS from my waterline with no difficulty. It was as simple as always, no extra step from removing my waterproof mascara!!!

So bring all the GPSs to my waterline!!

Thank you everyone! I hope I did not hijack this thread - I just wanted to show an example of a smokey look that I think would be a good example of what one can do with the Grease Paint Sticks (even though my example does not use them).

Another note - when I did this eye look I took the Feline pencil and used it like a shadow (blending out with a synthetic brush) and then layered the pigment over that. That is what gives the look it's depth.
