Ok, so I got Industrial and Petrol Blue today. I was all set to get another Undercurrent, but when the MA opened the drawer and I saw a huge amount of them left, I decided to hold off a bit to see how much I use my first one.

Totally not related, but I got the counter's last Plink l/s. WHY are they discontinuing this again?!?! I mean, it must have sold well enough... no one has it!

I was going to get Zinc Zone and Designer Purple today, but as I posted in the Prep for Colour thread, I'm trying to be a good girl. I'm going to wait until I go for Pret A Papier in a couple weeks, and if they are still there, I'll get them then. If not, oh well...it wasn't meant to be.

^I ordered Plink! l/s today before it disappears off of the website. I don't know why they are discontinuing that color. It does sound pretty. I do want a backup of Undercurrent p/g too but I'm trying to resist.

i got dirty, brown now and slick black. and undercurrent. the lip stains were "meh". cute but i didnt feel i NEEDED to have them. so i skipped. im getting better at restraining myself.

I've put my inital impressions and swatches of what I got from this collection on my blog.

In a nutshell: love Slick Black, it's soft and you don't need much. Greengrease isn't green enough. I like Below Ground and think it'll be good for neutrals.
Love all the pearlglides, they're so pretty.
Not convinced on the lipstains, they aren't lasting long on me at all, but that might be to do with the amount of lip balm I apply, I'll keep trying!

Ah no no no! I better go grab me a Plink! soon. I'm starting to think MAC stocks very little of the products online. Thinks are sold out so quickly online but there are still plenty in the stores.

what is everyones thoughts on the lipstain markers? im really iffy about them because i thought they would have that bleeding look. ive seen a couple lip swatches and they look great though. how would you ladies suggest applying it?

wearing undercurrent today.... i love it so much! and last night when i applied my lip stain pen i literally just coloured in my lips like it was a felt tip pen. no bleeding on me!

I caved and ordered a back up of Undercurrent. I am really getting into teals, blues and greens lately. This and NARS Cleo e/s duo are my two current fave products.

After using the lipstains for about a week, I am not as thrilled about them as I was when I initially got them. First, my lips feel like a dry prune if I don't use a balm underneath and gloss on top. The stain seems to last, but on my lips, it comes off unevenly. Yesterday, for instance I applied it 3 times otherwise my lips looked spotty. When I leave it tip down for a while and apply it, the color goes on evenly. If I don't this, I have trouble getting an even application of product out of the marker tip. All in all, I think the concept is great and I love the colors, but for me, the application isn't as good as it could be. I ordered some backups, but I will probably return them.
