I've been a ghost around here due to "being broke" and having a filled schedule. I have been forced to behave, and I honestly think it was great for me, because I was having a hard time deciding when to say no and what I actually "needed".

Being broke &behaving helps you to really pick out that one great thing and helps you to discern what is a must instead of just throwing your money at anything because you feel like you need all the things! It's hard, but this is helping me to appreciate the things I already have. The way I was constantly getting new things, I pretty much would use one thing for a week or two. But, now I have been able to appreciate things that haven't gotten so much love. It's a good thing to be broke (not really, but being forced to learn how to control my impulsive spending is good).
I agree! Forcing myself to buy less has really made me focus in on 2-3 items at a time that I really really want and I appreciate them so much more. I can remember the first time I wore them, how excited I was when I got them, etc.

Same here and have stopped my impulse buy since June and had to force skip Moody Blooms Collection (I regret not getting any of the eyeshadows that I wanted) and been loving the products that I have been long neglected and it feels really good to shop my stash in which I have not done in so long. At first it was hard to cope with in the beginning and not hauling so much like I've done before has helped. I am not completely on a no buy just re purchasing my necessities.

Good for you! And well done. I totally agree---and am trying to apply this logic!

I want all the shadows

That's what I'm thinking too, Dolly. These sort of muted, slightly murky-sounding shades intrigue me and I don't have a lot like them.

These are definitely not the types of shades that flatter me, but I'm still interested to see swatches.
That is exactly what I said to my girlfriend--not shades I naturally gravitate towards at all. Apparently they do wonderful things for the eyes though. She said they look amazing on. Go figure!
I have my eye on stony and marsh, but that's about it at the moment.

Amazing on everyone! They're the tones we all naturally have in the creases, contours and corners of our face and eyes, so using them will just accentuate them even more! Absolutely stunning!!!

I'll be able to do the eyeshadows for sure (which I'm looking forward to more this time anyway since I'll already be in lippie overload this fall), but the lipsticks are a different story. However, I can probably do the lipsticks with a different eye. I definitely couldn't wear a full face of this collection, though. It would drain the life from my natural coloring. I love the whole 90's nude look, but I definitely have to be careful with it. It didn't do me any favors the first time around. Lol

I'm definitely getting all the shadows and I'm so excited about them I don't even remember what else is in the collection. Back to page 1 for me.

LOL I suspect the shadows will be the standout for sure. I'm glad to get some more shadows! MAC has definitely been a little lipstick - heavy lately. Not that I could ever complain about too many lipsticks lol
