MAC Artificially Wild Collection (Sept 4, 2014)

Aren't you all surprised how quiet this thread is? Even if you take into consideration all upcoming collections being placed into The Scoop recently, I am still surprised at how mnimal this thread is. I hope this collection gets a little love. Maybe with the Simpsons hitting the store the same day, it is totally overshaodwing this collection. I know there are a few other collections the same exact day, but they are super-duper small. I just don't get it. I don't know abouut you guys, but the whole Simpson thing doesn't blow up my skirt one bit. I'm not thrilled with the packaing or the product. At least with the Artificially Wild Collection, they're bring back some great repromted liners, new and repromoted lipsticks, as well as a bunch of new goodies for us all. I simply don't get the apparent lack of interest. What do you guys make of this? :dunno:

I'm still excited. The 90s wasn't for everyone lol. People enjoy brighter and more flashy looks over the 90s nude look. So that could be it.

There is a lot of permanent and repromotes in this collection right? Maybe people have the things they want already?
For me, a MAC newbie, this is going to be more expensive then the simpsons. All 4 eyeshadows, pink cult, and then I have to see if I want any of the lipsticks. Brown lipsticks don't look that good on me.

Maybe, but at least these shades are more wearable. I want makeup that I can use on daily basis; not collector stuff that just sits in a box in its own special spot like a makeup museum. I want workhorse produtcts, you konw, those HG products that make putting makeup pleasant, effortless and very eye appealiing.

I agree. I want items I'd use. Granted I use everything I buy. But I know what you mean. I've seen some collections that are purely for museum purposes.Maybe, but at least these shades are more wearable. Maybe the fact that there are a few perm items?I hit the MAC counter on Friday night and tried on Photo, it looked pretty but I'm going to pass on it.
Oh..Okay!Well one less lippie to buy sounds pretty good right about now!!
