MAC Artificially Wild Collection (Sept 4, 2014)

It has the official maccosmetics.com domain so it can't be phishing.

Now if someone could figure out how to find me a single Fathoms Deep lurking deep on the Mac website I'd be eternally grateful! I'm now obsessing over it....a case of you want what you can't have and aren't willing to pay ebay prices for......

As someone who deals with digital, I have mixed thoughts about this Mac situation.

And what exact time do collections go on sale online? I couldn't figure that out with ANR.

And is there any chance the numbers listed are in the thousands, tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands and not seemingly the numbers listed? Seems low to me but what do I know.

There isn't a set time really, but the last few have been around 6am CST or so.

Osbournes launched around 7am EST, ANR 7-8am EST (can't remember the exact time) The re-routing RiRi packages reminds me of when George Costanza had ordered his soup but then complained about no bread. The Soup Nazi snatched it back (but he did get his cash back instantaneously lol)

Yep, all they'd have to do is continue to use those links and figure out the SKUs for other collections and that'd be the end of it.

Thanks. I ordered from ANR at 8 a.m. CST and got what I wanted via online. I'm trying to avoid looking too hard at this collection. Trying to back.....away....slowly.......

I feel like I'm partly to blame since I found that dev site while Googling for Simpsons info yesterday and posted the links to the product listings.

Maybe "phishing" isn't the right word but there are ways that mask a website...and seem legit. May be something small that's off. Either way...I didn't mention it to scare people. It was just something that came to mind. I know plenty of people have been duped by sites and links that appeared legit. It never hurts to be cautious lol

This can definitely happen! It's not the case with this one, though. I had a MAC window already opened and when I added the items to my cart, it updated the cart in my other window.

Even though you found it, you didn't post the how to or order. People have free choice, they wanted to order and did. You didn't force them so you are not to blame.
