And then when they were telling her it was fake, she kept saying, "we have no confirmation that it's fake". Bitch please! :lmao:Everyone was thanking the troll too! BEST DAY lol
You would've been rollin'Love it!
I like that! :haha::agree: this week especially with all the new collections... Should be deemed [@]erine1881[/@] appreciation week!
MmmhmmNo doubt. I went through all that with Temptalia and her slights toward Specktra. When I see her bashing people for copying something off her site, I can't help but choke on her hypocrisy. She comes off as so disingenuous. Ick.
She kept that going for a hell of a long time! She was like a dog with a bone...she wouldn't let it go :lol:And then when they were telling her it was fake, she kept saying, "we have no confirmation that it's fake". Bitch please! :lmao: You would've been rollin' I like that! :haha:
Every generation hates the fashion / makeup / music / etc. of the ones that preceded it. I am not fond of the 40s or 50s, altho they've made something of a comeback. Red and red-orange were pretty much the only lip colors. Foundations ran the gamut of colors from A to C... If you weren't pale or pink, you lost out. Cake eye liner (which i like) and cake mascara (which i never used)...
I am fond of many of the fashion looks from the 60s. The 70s had a whole bunch of different looks, some totally cheezoid and some interesting.
As for the 80s, there was a lot of creative imagination in some of the more extreme fashion makeups - which didn't always translate well to high school kids.
All i can remember from the 90s as standing out is black or brown liner around a lighter colored lipstick and too much deathly matte lipstick. On the other hand, that's when i started buying MAC (Cyber). There was a run on MAC when Madonna (i've never been a fan) revealed she was wearing Russian Red - but, SRSLY, folks, while mobs of women bought it, it sure didn't look good on most of them.
There are ugly styles and boring styles and interesting styles in every era...
I was a pre-teen and a teen during the 80's. It was rough for a girl with naturally curly hair. I straightened mine so much I'm surprised I still have hair left. I loved the clothing and makeup though. The music was amazing! Best thing about the 80's in my opinion. Also the horror movies, they were pretty darn good back in those days.Every generation hates the fashion / makeup / music / etc. of the ones that preceded it. i hated the 80s when i was a teenager but know i love a lot of it. there is always dorky clothes and makeup to be seen. in the 90s i was goth![]()
You had me at mustard. I am a child of the seventies! Love me some earth colors. Avocado green, mustard yellow, doo doo brown, harvest orange. The color of M&M's before they added the red and blue which I distrust. (this is really me just rambling and marking my place LOL)Mid tone mustard golden nude (S)No lip products, thankfully!

OMG you would've loved the house that i grew up in then! The carpet in most of the house was avacodo green with the exception of the living and family room room, which was chocolate brown. The walls were brown wood paneling. The downstairs half-bath had pumpkin orange countertops. And the kitchen had mustard yellow countertops. Oh yeah!!! :haha:You had me at mustard. A lot i liked in the 70s... but not the mustard carpets, the avocado appliances, and the big wall graphics in depressing colors.OMG you would've loved the house that i grew up in then! Wow, I feel your pain.I was a pre-teen and a teen during the 80's. It was rough for a girl with naturally curly hair. I straightened mine so much I'm surprised I still have hair left. Your hair is fabulous still! The 80's were all about curly for me, which was great - feels so good to be a girl growing up without any shame about her natural wonders! Brooke Shields, Sean Young, Kelly LeBrock and Andie McDowell… Mid-late 80's is when the straight hair peer pressure started building steam, it seemed like. I can't believe it's taken all these years for natural curls to even remotely start coming back in fashion.
The big hair 80's!80s new wave was the shit! I LOVED it. I always hated pop music during that time, but I dug the new wave. DH and I will listen to the First Wave channel on Sirius and to this day, I can still name 95% of the songs and artists from that decade within the first few notes of a song. It's a gift. A totally useless gift, but my own personal super power, nonetheless.![]()
80's underground music and style will always be the best for me. So much of it went mainstream in the 90's, which was weird to me, and now of course, it's all this worshipful retro mythology for kids whose parents were punk rock (or not, hehe). Funny how all that is, but hey - I'm not complaining. It'd be nice to see something undeniably brand new, but that's pretty hard to come up with out of the blue, even without all the retro love out there.
