A lot i liked in the 70s... but not the mustard carpets, the avocado appliances, and the big wall graphics in depressing colors.
I LOVE all those colors (just look at my closet...), but even I think being surrounded by them every day would be a bit much! But I love to have little punches of that stuff in my home decor... adds a little punch to a neutral scheme.

I think they are trying to push the frosts. HITC, the Viva Glams, now this?
I think so too. Frosts aren't bad, but I'd prefer they push satins in the very least. I love mattes, but they did go really heavy on them last year so I get why we haven't seen many so far this year, but please stop with the frosts and lustres! Lol I'd go APE for a black frost though if its the same quality as the frosts from Nudes & Metallics.
I'm a sucker for almost anything metallic looking. I loved that collection. I wish they'd bring back the Chromeglasses.

I think the main problem was so many frosts were just variations on the same pale color, plus a lot of them were dry and cakey looking. Now, the dry thing has been solved, but there still hasn't been a wide range of colors - most of them have still been the same old nudes. The frost lipsticks in Nudes & Metallics were all AMAZING, though. Everyone will get used to frosts when the colors are gorgeous for everyone! They DO make the lips look so voluptuous!

I wish Plushglass would come back, or something similar but better - I know lots of gals didn't like the Plushglass tingle.

Dare to Wear was great but I KNOW there will be better than that for sure. These velvety flocked lips coming up will probably put them to shame. At least, I can hope!

I'm on the fence about Icon.. I might skip and get something like Tanarama from the perm line instead.. seems like it would be more versatile for me. Although Icon looks like it could be nice for layering to tone down shades. Or I might wait until something new comes out. Until then at least I have Pet, Me Please to keep me company.

I loved Superglass but MAN, those were unpopular.

I think MAC's been a little bit more on target about cool products that are also the sort of thing lots of people will like since then, thankfully.

It isn't the colors in and of themselves. They're fine as accents. It's having broad swathes of all of them in one or two rooms, plus the big graphics in the same colors (plus orange and brown). It could be a bit oppressive.

I have some olive green (a little muter and yellower than avocado) clothes. Nothing mustard these days, but i will wear that color. Just not interested in having my living space full of them.

I still have 2 tubes (1 unopened) of Energy 3DGlass. And they're still going strong! I love that gloss!

I loved Superglass too. I still have one left, I'm kinda hoarding it!

I'm interested in seeing the lipsticks. I'm a 90's baby and love EVERYTHING 90's! All I watch on Netflix is 90's movies, lol. Clueless, She's All That, Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Cult, Cruel Intentions, etc no matter how many times I've seen it.

I have three. My favorite among them is Tunnel of Love which is brown with iridescent green and orange multi-size glitter-flakes.

I also have Sweet Tart and Super Flash!, one is pinky peach and the other is peachy pink, so they're both comparatively sedate (except for those big iridescent flakes :)

I missed out on Fab Frenzy, tho. I really would have loved it - purple with blue-violet flakes in it. Sigh.

That might be why I haven't been huge on buying them lately, the colour range. I'd definitely be interested in them if they'd pump up the volume on the range though as I do like the look the ones I do have have when I wear them.
