MAC Artificially Wild Collection (Sept 4, 2014)

When I bu something it isn't because I think I will use it but in case it is lost or damaged. Also, if it is something I use a lot of I get an extra just for travel.

OMG yes! I accidentally left my Red Balloon in the car. In a HOT car. It was able to be saved, but I was sooooo happy I had a backup. I love that color and accidents happens. And sometimes you DO use the whole tube.

All of the eyeshadoes look great as well, I just wouldn't use them much or else I would get NW and AW, plus AN CCB. All in all, this is my favorite collection in a while, and I didn't even receive my items yet, but based on the colour palette alone.

And I have to say, PC really does look pinker to me this time. The original looks more muted /grey toned IMO, this one is just... pink.

I might be wrong, it's hard to tell without seeing them side by side.

True... I haven't BUd anything in a while, but for some reason the fall collections make me want to go crazy. And I haven't posted in the Low-Buy thread in a while, because I have some confessiosn to make... I have been shopping quite a bit. *hides* It's the only blush I have a BU of as well.

You don't have to hide! Come by and say hi once in a while, even if you've been buying more than you want to. Anytime seasons change I feel that way too.. those marketers have us all well-trained that's for sure!!

Good point. I travel maybe once a year and I don't take anything I wouldn't want to lose, so my stuff is pretty safe. It all stays in the apartment in the same spot. I can understand if someone does their makeup on the train or something or is away a lot. I do back up lipsticks or glosses occasionally if they're really amazing because I do use them up.

Ok, Icon, at least the one I have is a 90s color for sure and is almost metallic looking on. It leans a bit brown on me but I love it. It is not for everyone though as it can look a little edgy for some people or very retro.

I would say it is close to a pewter look on my lips. Almost the Sweet Sienna of lipsticks.

I haven't been watching the site, so I was surprised when I opened an email from MAC Canada about Simpsons about 1:00pm. I was really interested in Pink Cult and Marsh, so that's all I ordered. Just got the shipping confirmation; they'll be here tomorrow by noon! I was sure I'd have to wait until after the long weekend. They must have really pushed through the orders today.

I might be interested in Shitake, but I want to try that one in person.
