I saw this collection today. I dropped by the counter wanting to see the mini lipglass/lusterglass sets and was surprised to see this too!

I like the packaging of the lipgloss the most. The printings on the transparent tube is very pretty. I don't love the packaging of this collection, it is just ok for me. IMO the packaging of the mystery powder doesn't look very sophisticated because of the black printing. The bag's material is not very good, but it is better than a bin liner.

The lipsticks are creamy and smooth. I like Prive and Treasured. As for the glosses, I like Lap of Luxury. It is like Boy Bait with pale pink and white shimmers.

I did swatched the mystery powders, which felt very smooth but they didn't show up in the pics. I have uploaded pics in the swatch thread.

Based on them, I think I've narrowed down my wishlist for this collection to 2 l/g: Lap of Luxury and D'Noveau. But I'm not totally sure I'll get them.

The compact doesn't really look that gorgeous as I fist expected based on promotional pics. Not worthy enough to get it. The l/s doesn't seem that unique either.

Final decision is at store.

I still refuse to buy anything from this. There's nothing spectacular, it's overpriced and I've been fully indulging in previous collections. Bring on Warm and Cozy!

Yeah, the packaging of the lipglasses are the prettiest.
I'm unsure now. I wanted Privé, but it doesn't look unique at all.
But then, it's creamy ... i love creamy lippies

i imagine it would be... people don't have as much cash so i doubt they'd be spending even more on a lipstick and such than usual. plus these collections are known for going to cco's too...

I saw the testers at Nordstrom in Downtown San Francisco today. They are not on display so you have to ask for this collection. It will be launched tomorrow.
I really didn't want to buy anything but ended up pre-ordering Tresured (beige) lipstick, D'Nouveau (rose) lipgloss and the compact after I checked out the colors. Geez! Didn't I say I wouldn't get anything? Bad, bad, bad...I was interested in The Lap of Luxury but it reminded me of Elle that I bought a couple of weeks ago with the mini set. The lipsticks are very creamy and the lipglosses are also creamier than the regular lipglasses. The SA said that this store received a very limited stock. When she opened up her drawer, they only had 5-6 items of each product. I am sometimes not sure if it is indeed the case or if they are just trying to sell it better to you that way.

Baroque Boudoir is not a dark plum color rather than a deep rose. The color descriptions are sometimes way off. I couldn't care less for the little clutch that was made out of a really cheap material. I wouldn't even pay $15 for it. Not sure what MAC had in mind with this one. You can get a better quality clutch anywhere else for much less than $65. Hope this helps someone.
