These do look so lovely. I'm taking the money I had planned on spending on Fafi and picking up at least a couple of these instead. I love how pigmented these look. Especially Sweetness and Joyous. Is the finish on these as fine as the beauty powders are?

BP blushes are out in The Netherlands.....well in the Amsterdam Bijenkorf that is! It's very strange that they are out so soon here, cause we usually are very late with all the collections. I mean....Fafi is out just today here in The Netherlands, together with the BP blush and Strobe collection....

BTW...the Lushious Beauty Talk forum was off air yesterday but it's on now (it's my Dutch make-up forum......)

I do have dark skin (NC 43) so not all colors show up very well on me....but they look just great and the texture is also beautiful, very sheer but very pigmented, not like the beauty powders!

Re: Beauty Powder Blush Discussion

Does anyone know if they are going to be released with Fafi in Austria to?

And another question, since I'm knew to MAC cosmetics: What is the diference bethwen regular blushes and this beauty poder blushes?
I bought my first MSF in the N collection - and I use it as blush as well, can I use another way to?
And how do you use an iredescent powder (that was released with Fafi as well)?

Sorry for so many questions

Re: Beauty Powder Blush Discussion

I'm assuming the finish (more finely milled), the pigmentation (not as pigmented as regular blushes, but more so than regular beauty powders) and more subtle shimmer in the BPB that have shimmer, than regular blushes. I'm just guessing though. Maybe one of the ladies who already have them can clear this up.

It is my impression that they are not as pigmented as regular blushes, but more so than regular beauty powders!
They are softer than a regular blush, if you want color you must apply a little bit more than you are used to regular blushes.
The shimmer is really soft, too. I like it.

I bought Shy Beauty and Sweetness yesterday and I really like them. As I said before they are softer than a regular blush. If you want color you must apply a little bit more than you are used to regular blushes.
If you apply Sweetness it is not so bright as you think if you see it first, but it has a lovely pink shade, great for spring and summer. It has a matte finish.
Shy Beauty is comparable to the shade of IPP Sassed Up. In the packaging it has a really soft shimmer, but you won't get any shimmer particles on your skin at all if you apply it. Shy Beauty is great to contour your face very softly, I think.

I can recommend them both!
