Aww really? But but but.. Blonde looks so very pretty in the pan!

I am useless at trying to talk myself out of buying all 3 MSFs.

Another thing is that although I'm NC by default of my "yellow" Chinese skin, I actually have fairly cool undertones.

Would Redhead still be the better choice for me?

I hope this won't be the case for me...

Definitely having Blonde and Redhead MSFs, the 226 and B2Ming for Marquise'D. I don't want to go all out before Hello Kitty but is there anything else that is a must have? I hate missing out on things and then kicking myself afterwards!

Yay for you! I too, swear that you will love playing with the testers.

It all depends on personal preference, but for me, Strawberry Blonde, Red Devil and All's Fair were really pretty. Probably Blow Dry and B-Babe too.

Tish, were you the one who mentioned that Blonde can be used as a blusher? If so I really don't understand why the fair/dark-skinned people are able to use it as a blush, but not us with medium skintone? Is it because the shimmers will look too over done on us if we pile it on?

Blonde is really metallic, so yeah, it can't be piled on. If you're darker skinned, it's going to give you a really pretty glow, but not a lot of color. Blonde can easily be used over the top of any blush to give it a little extra oomph.

^^^ Everything she said!! 100% percent...I personally don;t like caked on Blush..I like the sun kissed/pinched look and it is perfect for that...the more you pile the more payoff you get...So if you are thinking of the heavy hand look...no I would not count on this for that

I see, so you use it more for the glowy effect? Alone, or over other blushes? Seems like my hope of using it as a blush with some color payoff is gone.

Sigh. After viewing all swatches, I'm still unable to cut down anything from my haul list.

How is it possible that MAC controls me while I'm unable to control myself?

Final attempt to talk myself out of something, and I swear this will be the last time I ask any MSF related questions. Will Redhead or Blonde work better as a highlighter considering the blushes I currently own: Blushbaby, Mocha, Peaches, Fleur Power, Stark Naked, Plum Foolery, Springsheen, Dollymix.

^ Redhead is good for all the warm-toned blushes you listed. I have Springsheen and I looooooooooove using it with Redhead since they complement each other so well! I don't really feel right pairing Redhead with my cooler blushes though.

I don't have Blonde so I don't know about it...I imagine it would be nice with the cooler blushes, but someone can confirm this.

See, that's the problem. So that would justify me buying Redhead for the warm blushes, Blonde for the cool blushes, and Brunette for use as my blush/bronzer. Which brings me back to square one.

I say "yes" but my wallet says "no"!

I'm still thinking of adding B-Babe, Live and Dye, plus the brushes to my list.

Must. Resist.

I didn't end up getting everything I thought I would. I really want to like what a do and soft wave but I'm not sure if they looked right on me, I didn't end up getting redhead msf as it was a hot day and my cheeks were red so with it on I looked like a tomato. I'm going to go back next week and try them again. I love henna, pincurl, and deep shade. And I got blow dry, red devil, marquise'd, and quick tease. Thinking about the brushes but not convinced that I need them yet.

I love these degrade MSFs because they work so well as blushes for me! I'm of a deeper skintone, however, I am extremely pasty. I have no colour and I'm literally a shade of grey.

@Dreamer: Definitely leave out b-babe. It's just a chunky glittery mess. Seriously, and when the lipstick finally fades away, it leaves ugly large pieces of glitter on your lips. Not cute.

Huh? That's the first I've heard of this. Redhead MSF adds redness to the cheeks?

Thank you, I needed this.

I think you might have to watch out for flying objects though, lots of B-Babe lovers here on Specktra.
