I think that if you have dark hair Brunette and/or Redhead is the best optiong and for blonde/very cool toned red Blonde is the best MSF.

Brunette IMO is much darked and redder IRL, than it that pic^ But it is pretty, just not my thing, maybe if I had a warm brown/black hair but wiht my curent redhair I just don't see myself using it.

Sure, it depends on your skintone and hair... but i think it could still make a good bronzer or contouring shade.

But, nunu you have to get the 3 MSFs lol!!

IMO Brunette is too red for contouring, it could work maybe as a bronzer but that's just not my thing. I think Warmed is prolly a better bronzer when talking about MSF..

What is your skin tone?

I already have light flush and petticoat so that might cover blonde msf
and i also have so ceylon so that might cover brunette too.

I love So Ceylon but it as totally differens from Brunette IMO. Brunette is redder and SC is kinda more brownish and mybe a bit cooler. It's really hard to compare these to other MSF since the texture is so different. These are shimmery and not at all metallic like Petticoat or Lightflush and don't deffo have big glittery chunks like Glissade or Northern Light.

I refuse to pay Australian retail for them so I will wait and see if they turn up in the clearance bin.

My skin tone is... a mystery, i mean really... i have both pink and yellow undertones and it's so difficult to find the right shade. I was matched NW25 in SFF but it turned orange, and you know what, in Studio sculpt i was matched NC37, and it's great. The NC37 really is a particular shade (even on the swatches on the mac site), it seems really dark but when applied, it's fairer than NC35 or NC30 IMO, just with mixed undertones...
Anyway, to give you an idea, here is a photo of my arm, which is the same color as my face, and the 3 MSFs are perfect for me!!

Not sure about the number but from my screen you definetly look like a Cool shade to me .. It looks like you have yellow understones....But monitors do vary

Thanks Tish!

That's what i thought too! But apparently, i have hints of pink, even if it is less than the amount of yellow undertone...

, that's what the MA said... but i'm quite suspicious about her... that's why i have switched to another lol

Anyway, my skin is driving me nuts lol
But i am so satisfied with the new Studio Sculpt foundation though, it fits perfectly!

I don't have any MAC brushes yet, I used TBS mineral blush brush which is a big round fluffy kabuki-like brush.

I tried applying it with 3/4 of the stripes and it looked good! The darkest stripe I used it more as a contour color.

it. Brunette is really pretty too. I have yet to check out Redhead though, it's still unavailable at most of the counters.

I was happy with the blonde and redhead msf's. The brunette is just too much color for me. I'm a nc15/red hair/blue eyes.

Hell yeah. The Brunette MSF is sooo pigmented!

It lasts all day on me though, even after my makeup had faded my cheeks were still lookin' good.

I had tried out Henna on my eyelids with painterly as a base and unfortunately, it looks just like SO on me *sad* not a single trace of gold to be found.

I usually dont like darker color MSF as I am a NC15 more cooltone. But Brunette is really pretty, not to be miss.
