Hi everyone!!!! To everyone having a bad day, I wish you hearts and cookies and happy things, and that it will get better. There would be glompings and hugs if available.

The Hello Kitty thread is a frightening place, yet my OCD-like tendencies do not allow me to leave a colour collection discussion thread unread.
I've lost some of my makeup interest, particularly in MAC, because there's only so much one can accumulate before insane replication occurs. I still love playing with what I own, but my spending has slowed DRAMATICALLY in the last few months. That being said, I DID get Infamous paint in the mail today and HOLY SHIT I AM IN LOVE. It's like the colour of the pan of Violet Trance from Pandamonium quad.
The stories of sweet things done by DHs and whatnot are really cute. I enjoy them. My boy has never bought me makeup, but he smiles when I get really excited over some. Plus, for Christmas, he got me some really thoughtful things, like a silver chain (because he knew mine broke) and he even checked that it was in fact real silver (I'm allergic to things with nickel), the latest book from a series I have most of, etc.
LionQueen, please don't feel you're unwanted. Most of us just get excited/hyper, and if you come back to PAGES of posts, it's really overwhelming trying to respond to all of it. I've been on specktra only since March of this past year, and I certainly didn't get responded to initially. I just didn't shut up! If you stick around, you ought to find that there are a lot of wonderful, very open and welcoming people populating these forums. Same to you, dreamer.
People here are not cliquey or intentionally ignoring you. If you have a question or something and it happens to get overlooked, ask again!
If anyone fancies a conversation about Dungeons and Dragons, my boy is the one you will want to steal - you can find him on facebook through my relationship status. *grins* You are MORE THAN WELCOME to occupy his time this way... so he's not trying to unload it on me... He's generally pretty frigging sweet, though.

The Clearance Bin!!!! For a reasonable price!!!! I missed the tube of Hot + Sour she had, though, which is the other paint I'm dying for. I've never been so excited about a paint in my frigging life!!!! I haven't even used it, and it's my new favourite!!!!

I want existential, too!!! I got Graphito along with Infamous, and it's pretty nice. A bunch of the paints I'm missing but want are not that hard to find, it's just the few I want most that are, of course...

I'm kind of feeling like I'm not getting as excited about the LE collections as I used to. Dame Edna and Chill didn't move me at ALL. I have so much stuff i barely have time to use, it doesn't make sense to buy more that will be sitting in my drawers untouched. Also, it does seem a bit.... I don't know, weird or sad or something how we all wait in such anticipation for collections to come out, declaring how we MUST have this or that, and then 1 or 2 months later it's all forgotten because a new collection is out. Or maybe it's just me who does that? In any case, if I can completely forget about something in that short time, it probably wasn't that important to me in the first place. Therefore, i will try to be strong when I go to check out BBR and only buy things I am certain will come to good use.

ok. Well after all of the reviews and swatches from everyone, I'm trying to convince myself that I only need the MSF's and maybe the 226.
Hubby and I are about to go to the bank to finalise the finance for our new house, so I wont be able to buy from collections as freely as I did before so I need to be really really picky
Luckily BBR isnt released here until February 2nd, so I still have more time to convince myself to reduce my list!

omg the 226 is an absolute, absolute MUST. If I had to pick between my Redhead MSF and the 226, I would totally choose the 226 without thinking about it. It's just awesome!

And honestly, if I don't have the urge to play with makeup anymore, its getting harder to post. However, I still lurk around and I do post here and there. Just not like I used to.
I come back b/c of ALL of you. You are all so great and tbh, this what makes me come back. I like how we go off on tangents sometimes talking about anything and everything. We all have good laughs, share our experiences etc. It feels like a family! We don't need makeup, if we have each other (we can always borrow?)
