MAC - Cham Pale Discussion

Well, I still love Dangerous Cuvee. I wore it tonight over ccb root, then a grey blackened deep green from chanel's pearl quad - then I layered (using my finger) DC over it up to the crease. I just did a full 45 minute workout & I only had 1 tiny sparkle under my eye. And I'm saving that for New Years Eve

Oh, & I topped it with lots of Feline liner - yes baby prrrrrrrrr

yea, he was a babe.... and so was I ... I was studying in Spain.. so I had Spanish plates then.. lol. He took me to the Station House in Kent.. and there I sat BSing my way out of jail time.. lmao

But I had him so confused with the kilometres on my odometer that he called in another cop of higher rank and they said I should head straight to Dover and get on the next boat !

I sure did beat you to the wine tonight Elegant my dear... I am celebrating the end of this horrific decade and new beginnings.. staring at a lovely bottle of V.de Clicquot.... and eating pretzels (my Jeff loved his pretzels).

I sure hope the wine keeps us sane... and my lips meaty..

Well, I finally went to check out the collection yesterday. I got:

-Let Me Pop paint pot
-Chilled on Ice paint pot
-Dangerous Cuvee paint pot
-Sin-tillation lip gelee
-Straight to the Head lip gelee
-Feline e/l

I tried Dangerous Cuvee in the store (pat on) and I liked it. Granted this is coming from a lustre fan so the sparkles didn't really bother me but I understand how others would dislike it. Also, I read on here that it is good to use alone. Also good news for me as I don't regularly do much layering. I had it on for several hours later and I realized that it reminded me a lot of the lustre in the Holiday Quad - Magical Mist although it isn't taupey, I feel like I get the same effect so I don't know if I really needed this. I also tried a little bit of Sin-tillation over the Chanel Pleasing Glossimer I was wearing and I loved it. So I had to get it. This store was out of Bubble Lounge and Soiree nail polish. The SA said they had only got in 6 Bubble Lounge so I didn't bother to try another store. I placed an order online at Nordies for Bubble Lounge and Soiree so let's see if it actually comes.

I also loved Bubble Lounge over Chanel's new Jersey Rose. It looks awesome over about any color. I need another BL!

About Cham Pale: I'm still not feeling this collection. I only want IGNK, but otherwise I doubt anything is a must have for me. Really disappointed to hear the poor reviews on the paint pots. I must swatch them though to see are how sheer in fact are they.

i'm still skipping it though, i am much prefering the mufe aqua creams - mainly because they last so much longer and are also splash proof!

That's ^^^ EXACTLY how the color looks on my eyes - Gorgeous on!!!

I had 0 fallout after that lone 1 sparkle the rest of the night.

you should! i have about 5 or 6 now and they are awesome! really creamy and much more pigmented than the paint pots. i still like mac paint pots, dont get me wrong, it's just i expect more from products now and the aqua creams deliver that.

I got to have a look at this yesterday. I went in thinking I would get Chez Chez Lame - Fix + Lavender and maybe a paint pot. The PP's were all being used by the MUA's which was very irritating as I couldn't have a look at them, so I passed on those. The smell of Fix + Lavender was horrid :S It didn't smell of lavender at all, more like cheap vanilla (not nice vanilla like the lipsticks but like childrens perfume or something :S) so I didn't want that either.

I did however, get Chez Chez lame. Its gorgeous - I couldn't not get it. Im sure I have a few products that are similar enough that I could have managed without it but Im a sucker for Highlighting powders haha!
