They f&b wasn't expensive for me. They matched me wrong and so i got a free sample

The way they do this still makes no sense to me. I'm very pink-coloured, but I've generally been matched to NC20 by MUAs. I find that, unless I'm quite tanned (for me), NC20 looks very yellow against my skin and I end up having to use foundation under my jaw and on my neck to make it look the same colour. Most of the time, NW15 is a perfect match for my skin, NW20 in the summer. I don't know that I'd need to go lighter than 15, although there are enough people lighter-skinned than me that I think it would be a good idea for Mac to launch a lighter foundation with this collection, but I've never understood why MAs seem to think I look better yellow... Matter of personal preference, I guess.

Although, I think MUFE has a realllllly light HD foundation which would probably suit you.. I think 107?

I got matched to a NC the last time, because it makes my skin look more calmed down. I've red cheeks and the NC makes them look less red and NW makes them look more red. When i wear a NW my skin looks darker, because it looks more red and that was the problem. I don't know if this makes any sense

The NC and NW system is difficult. I think the best you can do is ask for samples of both and try them and see which you like most.
Maybe the MUAs liked NC better on your skin too because it looks more calmed down

Just a new shade i'm afraid. Sad it's not a new formula because I don't get on too well with studio fix.

I've just realised why I'm considered NC sometimes - my chest is rather yellowy.. I'm gonna end up looking like a Simpson at this rate...

Sorry but that sounds so funny.

Have you looked for a foundation from other brands? Maybe you can look for a foundation from a stage brand like ben nye. They should have a big range of colours, since they are a stage brand.

It looks funny! I kept wondering why my face was so pale in comparison to my chest.
I'm currently lemming for MUFE's HD foundation, so I'm probably going to try that and see if it matches me any better.

oh dear! those silly picture machine snever make anybody look good! i my passport picture it makes me look white! my hair looks white, face looks white! and then because i had worn some black liner even on my waterline the only thing that stands out is my eyes because of the black circles!

Just saw a new mac product listed in the face charts for NYFW... its called dangerous cuvee paint pot. do you think this might be part of the cham pale collection? i'm hoping so... cuvee is a word that's used a lot to refer to batches of champagne so my fingers are crossed for a paint pot that is paler than bare study!
