MAC - Cham Pale Discussion

I just saw Temptalia's review on the nail polishes. The platinum is a pretty colour, but oh boy the formula looks ugly on nails, so streaky! And she said it's one of the worst Mac polishes, so I better stay far away, I have terrible memories of the bad Mac polishes, like Hello Kitty...ugh! There must be a dupe from another brand for this colour. I have been liking the recent polishes Mac has put out, I'd hate to see them going back to the bad formula.

For some reason, I kind of like the streaky look. But once again, we all know how weird I am!

well it seems the peeps at pro can't be bothered with answering the phone. They have an automatic message giving out store hours and that's it. I'm on my way now and I'll try not to have a fit if the collections aren't there. They're closed Sunday so I hope they have it today.

EDIT: And with another Temptalia review comes another item on my wishlist- IGNK e/k is on there now, too. Damn. This is scaring me.

That is and was the only thing on my wishlist, I am always very safe from her swatches. Somehow things never turn out the same way on me as on her.
I am hoping that IGNK will be stunning on the waterline to balance some looks

Same. Somethings look amazing on her and just mediocre on me. On the flip side, though, there are some things that don't necessarily look amazing on her, but look good on me.

If IGNK is anything like Buttery, it will be amazing on the waterline!!!

I've just fallen in love with Soiree - I wonder what the texture is like? I hate gritty-feeling glitter on my nails because I'm so obsessive compulsive about touching them...

we're getting a new TV too :D and I'm having lasik eye surgery early Jan. I'm glad that I'm not interested in much as I do need the money. Though after seeing Temptalia's swatches I def will get Soiree n/p as I had planned originally.

Has anyone seen Temptalia's paint pot swatches yet? I'm having a hard time with them. At first I was on the fence about getting a PP, maybe get the Chilled on Ice and leaving it at that. Then I saw the video review and now Temptalia's swatches. They all look so beautiful but also kinda patchy. I just don't know :/

I don't own any PPs and would love to hear some advice from ladies who love them.

Right now I'm loving Chilled on Ice (it looks so ethereal), Dangerous Cuvee, and Let me Pop. I want to get them all ... gees, I make it sound like they're Pokemon or something ... but I can't afford it if I'm going to turn around and get Peacocky eyeshadows the next week. Are there any Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencils in similar colors, especially for DC and LMP? If there are then I might only get Chilled on Ice. Thank you in advance!

I typically love PP's, but these look so sheer and really frosty. Not for me, but I hope those of you who like them really love them in person!

I'm excited for IGNK! I think it'll be so gorgeous on the inner eye corner and lower lash line/waterlines! Maybe even as a lip liner to fill in the lip and cover with a creamy/non-shimmery gloss?
