Has anyone seen Temptalia's paint pot swatches yet? I'm having a hard time with them. At first I was on the fence about getting a PP, maybe get the Chilled on Ice and leaving it at that. Then I saw the video review and now Temptalia's swatches. They all look so beautiful but also kinda patchy. I just don't know :/

I don't own any PPs and would love to hear some advice from ladies who love them.

Right now I'm loving Chilled on Ice (it looks so ethereal), Dangerous Cuvee, and Let me Pop. I want to get them all ... gees, I make it sound like they're Pokemon or something ... but I can't afford it if I'm going to turn around and get Peacocky eyeshadows the next week. Are there any Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencils in similar colors, especially for DC and LMP? If there are then I might only get Chilled on Ice. Thank you in advance!

I have 6 paint pots and I usually do not have a lot of trouble with them being patchy. However to make sure they stay on place and to make them pop a little bit I have been using LORAC Behind the Scenes eye primer. It is the first one that I have found that actually makes the PP's work better.

I think the Chilled on Ice PP looks a lot like Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP. I actually used that today and I definitely see a similarity. RSVP is also frosty but I think the COI is a bit more frosty. I will do a comparison if I can get my hands on a COI PP.

I think the Let Me Pop looks a lot like UD 24/7 liner in brash. Except of course in PP form.

The PP that appeals to me the most is Dangerous Cuvee. I have deep brown eyes so I tend to try most things with any hint of purple in them. And DC is a nice smoky purple. I could see myself using it a lot.

Out of everything I think I want the Fix + Lavender the most lol I was so bummed that I missed the Fix + Rose. I seen on Temptalia she said that it smelled very strongly of Violet and Vanilla and then disappeared quickly. Well I love the smell of Vanilla and Lavender so that is ok with me.

The Lip Gelee's are a bit too frosty for me. The liners look interesting though. I think I like the nude (lighter shade) one and the champagne one the most.

Someone please tell me I don't need Rose Ole since I already have By Candlelight!
You don't need Rose Ole because you already have By Candlelight!

Actually I've said the same thing to myself. I've got By Candlelight, Oh So Fair BP, Rhapsody in Two MB and the beautiful Truth & Light powder, which I use almost every day. I figure Chez Chez Lame will be the way to go for me considering what I already own (plus I'm fair) BUT ONLY if it's even more fabulously shimmery and smoother than Truth & Light. Rose Ole is lovely but I think it'll probably be too similar to Rhapsody in Two or a combo of RiT and By Candlelight.

Speaking of powders, HerGreyness (or anyone else for that matter), do you see a point in me buying Rose Ole if I am buying Too Chic? I'm wondering if I really need 2 powders.

Yes ma'am. I've been noticing in the past that things I think won't sell out fast do. It's weird. I don't think anything is going to disappear from this collection too fast, but I expect Dangerous Cuvee p/p, those c/p and that e/k in I Get No Kick to move faster...not going to take any chances. I need the e/k for my tear duct area like right now.

So Dangerous Cuvee is impressive, huh? Damn, I was hoping to skip it.

I mix Dark Soul pp with Bare Study pp and I get a very good dupe of DC -- if you want a bit of pink, use some Fresco Rose/Artifact/Silverstroke and .. voila, you get a customized colour

very similar to DC.

Definitely need I Get No Kick...has anyone found out if it's waterline safe yet? I'll probably grab a Feline Kohl, too, I think it's time for me to move on from Rimmel (on of last years New Year resolutions was to spend money on high quality makeup, rather than lots of poor quality products, so I've been trying to work through it all).

I'm undecided about the quad...I've never bought MAC eyeshadows before (and don't live within even 10hrs of a store, so can't see for myself), and while I've been interested in Brule and Retrospeckt, I'm not as sure about the other two shades in the quad...plus, I've read that Lustre finish is notoriously hard to work with, so dunno. I definitely like it more than the Tartan Tale quads, though! I'm leaning towards it only because a quad is better value than two e/s bought seperately, especially in Australia (although I'll probably get this sent over from Canada).

I hate the lipgelee's!

Hmm ... I think I might skip COI and go with Benefit's RSVP if you think they're really close -- but it might be hard to do lol! I'm not sure if I'll like the super frostiness of COI and RSVP sounds like it's less frosty which is a plus for me.

I'm a die hard fan for Buxom's Stay There Eyeshadows. I love them to death. A girl commented on Temptalia's CP PP post that Buxom is coming out with new Stay There colors. I had to check it out and yeah they are. Some of the colors will be close to these PPs. I might just wait for the Stay Theres. So excited!

I've never tried Fix + but the way you and Temptalia describe the smell I might have to test it while I'm at my MAC shop on the 26th. I love Lavander and Vanilla so much.

Better get the I Get No Kick pencil. It's gorgeous!

Christine over at Temptalia said in her Cham Pale video that e/k is waterline safe.

Last time I was at Sephora I checked out those Buxom shadows and I actually really liked several of them. It was hard to walk away without buying any. I highly recommend checking them out though.

I was at the MAC in Nordies the other day chatting up one of the MAs and when I told her I needed a Moisturelush Eye Cream she told me that Cham Pale was releasing a Lavender one so I should wait for that one, and I agreed.

But I don't see that info anywhere! She said she tried it at 'MAC school' which I assume means her update? Anyone know about this?
