MAC - Cham Pale Discussion

Booooo, I can't order online from MAC and I'm not going to the mall in this weather!!! It's already not so hot outside here in CT! I think I saw on Macy's website that it was free shipping over $50. My order is going to be way more than $50, I'm tempted. I don't think anything will sell out at my counter, but you never know!

Great tip--thanks. i forgot MAcy's free shipping.... I may just have to do that if I don't see anything online at MAc by about 4 PM. I don't care when it gets here ... I justw ant my order in! =) For those in the East like I am--enjoy the snow.

ARAGHGHGHGHGHGHG I just went to Macy's site because I was thinking about placing my order... Bubble Lounge and I Get No Kick aren't there!!! There are three lip gelees, no BL! Feline and the chroma pencils are there, no IGNK!!! Seriously. If those two things sell out before I get to my counter, I will be really mad.

yeah...after staying up past 12 AM everyday for the past few nights, I gave up and ordered the things I really wanted from this collection and Stylishly Yours from Macys. They didn't have the I Get No Kick pencil, though. I'll be checking the MAC site throughout the day, I'm sure....

I went to Mac and returned my stuff. I didn't get the stank eye because there were people I know there. Very nice. It peeved me that one MA was using the quad on someone so I couldn't play with it. Can you get another tester? It's a new collection and I'm sure no one wants to barge in and rub their finger into something being used on someone else; at least not me. Whatever. It looked really dull on the customer anyway. That quad is a total loser to me.

I bought Movie Star Red and Sin-tillation. I looooooove Sin-tillation. It's different from Resort Life. I see the pink on my lips with Sin-tillation and with Resort Life, it's a peachy, natural color. I want a backup, but I know I have no business with one. Maybe if these things are still hanging around by the end of January, I'll buy another. I didn't get Rose Ole because it looked dull on me. I was going to get the lip conditioner, but then I remember I never finished the one from Warm and Cozy, so I passed.

I returned the paint pot, No Kick and I also returned Straight to the Head lipgelee. I love the color, but it wasn't working for me. I don't wanna do bronze lips. It makes my naturally pigmented lips look darker and I am mindful of that now. I like nice, bright lip colors to combat my natural lips and to brighten my skin. It's youthful, I think so I am in permanent summer lip mode.

^i agree. Ill never use stright to the head on myself...I just dont like it on me, but its so pretty i couldnt leave it there. I do regret IGNK. I just tried to use it again and I get absolutly nothing out of it. I hate it. Waste of money. Sin-tillation I like a lot but forsome reason on me it just looks so blue...maybe with a lip stick under it, it will look better. What did u have on under it?

I didn't wear anything under Sin-tillation. Do you have pale lips? Maybe that's why it pulls blue. I have dark lips, so it comes out pink on me, but I did see blue shimmer.

I picked up a bunch of things last week from Cham-pale- I am LOVING all of it. I am even thinking now about picking up a few back ups and I am not a back up person. I have Soiree Nail polish and Dangerous Curvee on the way to my apartment, but now I am thinking about getting a back up of Chez Chez lame, I have been using it everyday and loving it. I also want to pick up Luxure now.

What I picked up:

  • Fix Plus with Lavender - great! I love the scent
  • Get no Kick Eyeliner (shimmery nude eyeliner)- This is great for inner corner of the eye and I like to use under my eyeliner on the bottom lid to brighten my eyes.
  • Scintillation Lip Gelee (extreme sparkly icy pink lip gloss- SO NOT STICKY!)
  • Bubble Lounge Lip Gelee (extreme sparkly pink peach lip gloss- SO NOT STICKY!)
  • Chez Lame Lame Highlighter Powder (Gorgeous light gold highlight powder with a cool white shimmer, I wouldn't say silver! It is perfect for cheekbones- gives that fake plastic shine- which I love! Very Glowy! I am in love with this. Its very very smooth.)- I have been using this EVERYDAY as an all over setting powder. Not too metallic or frosty at all for me.
  • Chilled on Ice Paint Pot (a white gold cream eyeshadow- I did not find it to be sheer as everyone else, reminds me of vanilla pigment in a cream base form, has a slight shimmer/sparkle to it)
  • Lip Conditioner in Calm Mode (heaven, a neutral pink nude lip balm)

I havent found out how to post pics to the new specktra yet and I dont want to link my blog (i got reprimanded for this once before

I hope everyone gets what they want from this collection, this was a big winner in my book! I love nude shimmery glowy looks.

My lips are very pigmented reddish. I dunno the blue glitters just stand out so much on me. But I did try it over mythe and loved it! sooo happy i found something to make it work for me :)

oHHHH u make me wanna go back and get chez chez lame!!

Before i got out of the car i swatched nars albatros on my hand so i could swatch them side by side and see if i really needed it...its almost exsactly the same. I loveeeeeeeee both. But i dont need a dupe for something i already have. I might eventually get rose ole but i didnt think it was that special. Might have to go back and swatch it again :)

Even after all the warnings, I was still disappointed with all the PPs in person:( They're sheer and glittery and apply in a patchy, uneven way. I tried to build up the pigment with the grey one but it looked awful which is so sad because it's a great colour.

I Get No Kick was just a shimmer on me but it did have a very nice, smooth texture so I think that might be useful for some people. I wish I could find something lighter than this but not stark white for my waterline.

The lip gelees are nice but just not my style. The SAs were all wearing them and had found some pretty combinations over different lipsticks and over the CCBs from Stylishly Yours.

So, I completely passed on this collection. I got some great Boxing Day deals on shoes though!

I completly agree!!!!!!!!!!! If IGNK was lighter I would love it. Its just a shimmery version of my skin tone and it does nothing at all for me. But had it been a shimmery white or soft pink id love it
