Here are some swatches I did today. I honestly feel that if you have aquavert, then you don't need warm chill. The order from left to right is as follows:

Climate Blue
Cornflower Pigment
Warm Chill
Aquavert

You can see how similar warm chill and aquavert are. I think aquavert gives you a little more payoff, but not much. Climate Blue really doesn't resemble anything. The closest I could come to in my collection is Cornflower Pigment, but it is way too shimmery compared to Climate Blue...

I must be one of few, if not the only one who isn't going crazy over Climate Blue..... I have four days left in the US and I was so close to buying it today; even after swatching it and still of the opinion that the colour payoff isn't all that good and the texture isn't much to my liking either (maybe its my skin tone, NC15). I've got this horrible feeling that I'm going to get home and regret it if I don't buy it.

I did come out of MAC with some Turquatic perfume from the CH Collection though!

Anyone have pictures of it on their lids by any chance?

I'm NC30 or NW25 (I wear either or). Plumage is one of my MOST favorite shadows! Omg so many different ways to wear it, here are a few of my favorite ways

1) Bisque all over lid and crease, liquid eyeliner in black on lashline, then take plumage with a 219 brush (pencil brush) and do a nice tight dark crease with it. Then I usually put blanc type under the brow and over the lid part again to brighten it up! Smolder on lower water line and auto de blue liner lower lashes.

2) Hush shadow (peachy pink) on lid, plumage outer 1/3, delish! Plumage as liner (wet) with 266 brush

3)Nylon, Rose Blanc or any light color on lid, plumage to smoke it out. The plumage will turn a lighter green over the gold color and then be that dark teal on the outer

4) Stripper look lol . Sharkskin shadestick all over lid, pack plumage (don't be shy!) over the sharkskin. Blend the plumage up to the crease, then stars n rockets top part of crease and to blend the egde out. Vapour under the brow for highlight. Sharkskin under the lower lashes, put plumage on top of that and then vapour on the inner part of lashline.


Plumage is gorgeous

Everyone should grab one while they can, MAC has discontinued a few of my fav dark mattes like femme noir. Stock up! lol enjoy

i got my slimshines in the mail today. (tropic glow, swelter, and high 90s) these are the first time i've ever tried them. im very picky when it comes to things on my lips. besides tendertones everything else feels gunky, but so far i really like these! i absolutely love high 90s. i want gentle simmer as well but since it's not LE, i suppose there is no rush.

Fantastic combos! Especially, the stripper one!

I just, recently, added a matte shadow to my collection called Intoxicate - does anyone have that one, and if so what do you think...I haven't tried it yet. It's a discontinued shade. It's a matte version of Sketch... IMO

Anyone have this?

Received my Gulf Stream, Warm Chill, Cool Heat and Blue Flame e/s today

Thanks again to a lovely lady called Concertina for CPing it for me and sending a free Avon torquise eye liner as well

About matte eyeshadows...I dont have Plummage (but I'm interested now lol) or Intoxicate, but I do have Tete-A-Tint and Signed, Sealed and I love them both, the texture is very nice, not at all chalky and the colour pay-off is, as you can imagine, amazing.

Sooo wanna get Newly Minted and Clarity too!

Love them! I use them as an eyeliner with the 208 brush very often, too!

Mmmmm I can just about imagine how lovely that must look like! I do an eye liner with Moon's reflection (lovely light blue from perm) often, but NM and Clarity look awesome to play with
