Do u think hot frost and splendid have dupes, or no? Splendid looked sort of like a less bright pink grapefruit...but I think Im wrong lol.

hmmm...I can't think of anything like Hot Frost off the top of my head - I really don't think so. It is a pretty pink. I can't find my Splendid right now, but I don't think I would put it in the pink grapefruit category - that I can remember.

Also, on Gladiola - I swear that lipstick is a chameleon

because it seems a little bit different on everyone. It may be because of lip or skin tone. Its truly unique IMO.

I agree with that. Gladiola is just freaking awesome! I just posted swatches of it in the swatch thread, it comes across as a pink-purple shade on me, much like that of the color in the tube.

As for the lipglosses, Hot Frost and Possum Nose Pink were very very sheer when I tried it on my lips, and I did swatch a huge amount of it. Not very special to me, because I like my lips bold, but PNP is a pretty color though. Hot Frost color didn't really show up on my lips so I'll pass on it. I swatched Splendid on my hand and it looked very frosty compared to the other two, someone posted a swatch of it in the swatch thread too, if I'm not mistaken.

Oh and Varicose Violet is just pure love!

Awww.. isn't the little Glitter bomb Snowscene just gorgeous!

My face looks the same when I take it off, little Glitter everywhere!
But I don't mind this clingy glitter. Makes me love it even more!

Possom Nose Pink over slightly applied Kanga-Rouge is love!

First off, I don't think Chill is ever coming to Singapore, because it's still not here yet. Sad that I won't be able to get any of the products.

Glad that PNP and KangaRouge worked out great for you!

I don't have either, but if I decide to get PNP, I hope it'll look great over all of my red lippies.

PNP over heavy applied red lipstick is surely awesome too

but over a lightly, kinda sheer applied red lipstick it turns into a gorgeous hardly to describe red/pink tone.

Ok I shall try PNP over a Red She Said stain next time. I'm sure the pink undertones in the lippie is gonna complement the lipgloss.

You're welcome! Yes, Chill is out here since last week together with Dame Edna.

But some stuff sure is sold out here already. Today I finally got the email from MAC Germany that Dame Edna is out now. Oh really?

Sold out already? I haven't even seen it really. I just quickly tested to Royal Tour Trio and I was disappointed by the colour payoff.
Do you know what is already sold out? And are you happy with what you got?

hot frost is very sheer but it has a lovely gold sheen. its like a lipgloss version of stark naked haha im obsessed! im going to try layering it over my hot tropic slimshine

Ok that affirms my suspicion. Chill is really not coming to my country! Looking on the bright side, it means more money saved for me then.

I just bought Asiatique nail lacquer today. I asked my MA to swatch it on her nail and it was so gorgeous that I was immediately sold. Varicose Violet was my first MAC nail lacquer, and I find the formula to be pretty good; it applies like a dream compared to the cheap drugstore brands that I've been using.

Sorry I was rambling but I get excited when I buy new MAC stuff.

Is there an email notification service for MAC? I didn't know that.

At the douglas website (

too, kinda) two of the lipglasses, one nailpolish and the Royal Tour Trio are sold out and I guess at some locations there are sold out or nearly sold out too because it is often similar at douglas and the stores/counters.
I thought about the Royal Tour Trio but I am happy that I didn't bought it.

I am really happy with what I got both from Dame Edna and Chill.
Kanga-Rouge is my first red lipstick and I adore it!
Possom Nose Pink is gorgeous too and I am glad that I bought the Wistera Trio.

But I must say.. the stickers? I hate them! This sounds harsh but especially on the Lipglass, where you need the most pressure to open it, the sticker disturbes me and peels off easily! I will try clear nail polish over it but the sticker is just ridiculous.

Some of the Chill collection is already sold out online too and they didn't get the Glitters online. But I got Reflects Transparent Teal at the store before and I will get Reflects Antique Gold later.

So far from Dame Edna I have only Possum Nose Punk and I love lot, really reeally love it. I have nothing like it and even though it is quite sheer, on pigmented lips it is wow.
On my list are Kanga-Rouge and Coral Polyp. Coral Polyp mainly because of the pictures of darkishstar wearing it. Thanks darkishstar!
I so wanted to like the Royal Tour Trio. How is the colour payoff on the Wisteria Trio?

All I am interested in from Chill is the liner. And maybe Artic Grey if it is what I am looking for, a subtle, not too frosty day time gray.

My skin is freaking out right now and I am not in the mood for using makeup since a couple of days.

I liked the Royal Tour Trio - UNTIL I swatched it at the counter. The texture was really bad.

The counter tester's Wisteria Trio had a better color payoff, but I heard one youtube reviewer say that the textures varied from trio to trio, so what you get may actually be different from the tester that you swatched.

The penultimate liner is perm, no?

Aww, hope you and your skin feel better soon!

I have VERY bad skin (think oily + acne), but I will continue putting makeup even if I don't feel like it, because I look really bad without at least some base makeup to cover up my face.
