Well, I received my Cremesheen Glass - Melt in Your Mouth

The color is a very pretty warm coral, melon, grapefruit, rosey medium pink. Hows that for a color description! Very, very pretty for summer.

It's more pigmented than regular glosses, but I would've liked more coverage. I also have very pigmented lips & I wanted the color to realllly cover.

sigh. am I the only person who HATES doefoot applicators?? Sometimes i actually get grossed out by them because they get to look pretty discolored and weird but I might just be ultra picky about that. Doesnt stop me from buying my lipglass' though. I also think brush applicators put the product on so much smoother and nicer. I try to use a lipbrush at home when applying my lipglass for that reason but when im out im not going to whip out a brush and my lipgloss because I already look too high maintenance as it is hahaha

Nope you are not the only one. I really really prefer brush applicators. I think that is why I have super love for lustreglasses compared to the other lipglasses I have. Because of the applicator. And something like the cremesheen glosses look like, I'll have to use a seperate lip brush to apply mose definately, i just can't see getting the type of thick application I would want with a product like that as easily with a doefoot. (I don't know, I Just feel like they're MEANT to drip off your lips (like not Actually drip like in the promo pic, but definately not sheered down, more a , look like you've iced your lip with super sexy cream icing ... in my mind anyhow. I pile on me some lustreglasses though too.. so... lol... That may just be my personal makeup preference, I know 'that' type of "over" glossy look drives other people batty.. but I like it!

I got Looks Like Sin... such a great color! They do seem really sheer though...

As for weight they are 2.7 grams, is that what the dazzleglasses are?

Dazzleglasses are 1.92 g and the Monogram Glasses were a bit over 4 grams?
But.. only 2.7 grams? Oh my!

I guess my hope for an opaque, creamy gloss just went down the tubes........*sigh*

I'm OK with the doefoot applicator, I just really wanted an opaque gloss - like the Lip Varnishes without the icky separating problem.

Ah well. Given that I am currently going through my sizeable stash at the moment, I hardly need to become enamored of a new gloss formula.

I do love the Cremesheen lipstick formula though, and look forward to new colours.

I LOVE the lustreglasses for the lack of stickiness and the brush applicator. I definitely layer it on thick, too, to keep that wet, shiny look - not so thick that I get gooey strings when I open my mouth, though, because those are yucky. Doefoots make me sad.

I can't say I'm surprised that these glosses don't have a lot of content. Sigh.

My hope went down too. I probably will just get one of them to try them but.. I am so disappointed!

However I am looking forward to new Cremesheens too!

Lover of lustreglasses and plushglass (they just are smoother to me), for the brush applicator and sparkle, I actually prefer them to lipglasses.

I can't wait for the new shades of cremesheens, they must be selling awesomely.

The only good thing about these glosses is I can skip them. Like I said before, I hate sheer glosses. Looking at the promo pic, these are supposed to be creamy and opaque. If I wanted a sheer gloss....well Id just buy clear probably.

Ill wait til I see more swatches. Still waiting on the lavender ones but that might be the only 2 I get

Nope, you are not. Half the time I feel like taking the gloss back off with the doe foot. I know that it's not the case, but still I do not like them very much.
Well, well, someone must think they are a great way to apply l/g.

Thanks a lot for the swatches Jenntoz!

They are so disappointing imo. They look gorgeous in the promo pic, but they must have been photoshopped... these are just too sheer. Looks Like Sin didn't stay on my lips longer than a half hour. I guess I expected much more from looking at the promo pic. Are these 14 dollars like other glosses or will they cost more?

^^^ I have a feeling these new glosses may be in the Dazzleglass price range (US $17.50) but perhaps I am just being cynical. I honestly don't know, I am just guessing based on what the packaging looks like (similar to d/g tubes)

Or perhaps I'm just bitter that these are sheer!

Lets share a bitter moment together hun!
I am still sad that they are not more opaque.

Darn, I was really hoping for a brush applicator.

I honestly can't use lipglasses because the formulation is so sticky and the doefoot just makes it so hard to put on accurately. The brush is much easier to use! I would have really liked an opaque, not-too-sticky formulation with a brush! Oh well.

I am not only bitter that these are so sheer, but also that MAC keeps making products contain less and cost more. It's like they're pretending they're high end when they're really only mid-range. I LOVE some of their products, but the newer stuff (such as dazzleglasses, these, mineralize blushes...) isn't really doing it for me. I just don't feel like it's worth the price tag.
