fyi-these cremesheen lippies don't smell like the others. they smell more like the 3d glasses. the cremesheen glasses smell, feel and taste like 3d glasses too. maybe its just me. 
edit: the glosses are $17.50. same tube as dazzleglass, and i actually think there's even less. i was getting samples to post with a lacquer wand and when i stuck it in, it felt like alotta air was in there. does that make sense? sorry peeps. |

Lavender Whip looks so sheer though, I was hoping for an outrageous and solid lavender color. But then again what am I expecting, they're cremesheens for God's sake, they are never going to be as intense as good old ACs.
I wonder how Lavender Whip compares to Up The Amp (and also Fashion Mews). Can someone fill me in on this?

Thanks so much Erine. I'm loving Creme Cup, but not so much Shy Girl which I was originally interested in. Hmmmm. And I may skip the glosses as a protest against the price...although TBH I'm kind of sick of everything on my lips being so sparkly, so I guess I'll see how I feel once I see them irl. In any case the price will keep me from buying as many as I otherwise would have. I think MAC is shooting themselves in the foot with these price increases. IMHO they are/were at an interesting price point. If they keep raising prices, esp in this economy, at some point people will just quit on them and either move to buying more items from the drugstore or less items from Chanel or Chantecaille or YSL for the same amount of $ they used to spend on MAC.
